<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Die <a href="http://mongolrally.theadventurists.com/" target="_blank">Mongol Rally</a>, die von London über 10.000km bis nach Ulan Bator in der Mongolei führt, wird auch als "größtes Abenteuer der Welt" bezeichnet</strong>. Das vielleicht vor allem deshalb, weil nur Autos mit Motoren teilnehmen dürfen, die nicht größer als ein Liter sind. Eine festgelegte Route gibt es dabei nicht, jedes Team muss sich selber seinen Weg suchen, und GPS-Navigation ist bei der Rally verboten.</p>
<p><strong><a href="http://www.stamfordmercury.co.uk/news/Ready-for-the-drive-of.4276190.jp" target="_blank">Dieses Abenteuer wird heuer von zwei jungen Frauen bestritten</a></strong>. Frances Hickinbotham, 22, und ihre Freundin Samantha Faulkner, 22, werden sich gemeinsam auf den Weg machen.</p>

<p><strong>Während 2004, im ersten Jahr der Rally, gerade einmal 6 Teams gestartet sind, machen sich heuer schon 300 Teams auf die lange Reise über 2 Kontinente und durch 17 Länder</strong>. Das Team der beiden Mädchen, die über keinerlei mechanisches Vorwissen verfügen, heißt passenderweise "Road to Ruin" (ein aus purem Aberglauben gewählter Name). Man kann nur hoffen, dass sie mit ihrem kleinen Nissan Micra keine größeren technischen Gebrechen haben werden oder dass im Fall des Falles vor Ort ein Einheimischer helfen kann *g*.</p>
<p><strong>Gestartet wird am 19. Juli vor dem Hyde Park in London</strong>. Neben dem Spaß für die Teilnehmer hat die Rally einen ernsten Hintergrund: Für karitative Projekte soll Geld gesammelt werden; Letztes Jahr kamen £200,000 zusammen.</p>

Non si tratta della solita supercar, di un prototipo o di una vettura prodotta in piccola serie per testare il mercato: la Zenn, questo il nome della vettura, è una vera city car, che costa poco - 15 mila dollari - e che offre prestazioni del tutto simili a quelli di una vettura di pari dimensioni. La Zenn (a proposito, il nome sta per "Zero emissions no noise", ossia zero emissioni nessun rumore) può raggiungere una velocità massima di 40 km all'ora e viaggiare dai 50 agli 80 km a batteria pienamente carica. Non sono prestazioni ridicole, ma quelle che vengono richieste a tutte le auto nelle nostre città. In tutti i casi per chi volesse è sempre disponibile la Nemo, che ha un'autonomia di 110 chilometri e può raggiungere una velocità massima di 60 orari. Interessante anche il limite di omologazione: per evitare che qualche folle prenda una Zenn e si lanci in un coast to coast (negli Usa sarebbero capaci) la Zenn è omologata solo per circolare su strade pubbliche con un limite di 50 km orari, ossia in città. Ridicolo il costo chilometrico (circa un centesimo per chilometro) e già pronto il piano di sviluppo per esportare queste vetture in Messico, Europa e alcuni stati americani. Insomma, il futuro, molto probabilmente, è cominciato. Il bello è che comincia lontano dalle proposte e dalle idee dei colossi dell'industria dell'auto. Anche questo è un segno di come i grandi costruttori non abbiano saputo cogliere la necessità di avere auto super ecologiche.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify;">Ecco un altro esempio della scadente informazione italiana (stampa e tv) e dello stato pietoso in cui versa la maggior parte dei giornalisti in Italia. Invece che "informare", si forgiano subdolamente le opinioni e si alimentano in maniera pilotata paure che altrimenti non avrebbero ragione di esistere, così come accade per l'<em>insicurezza percepita</em>.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">Ovviamente <a href="http://www.repubblica.it/2008/05/sezioni/cronaca/incidente-nomentana/furgone-incidente/furgone-incidente.html">la notizia</a> che vorrebbe destare scalpore e risentimento nell'opinione pubblica è il fatto che il pirata della strada - il quale ha investito una macchina con a bordo tre ragazzi, uccidendone uno - è <strong>moldavo</strong>, con precedenti penali e con un decreto di espulsione a carico. Guarda caso anche l'estate scorsa ci fu un'ondata di notizie che riportavano di pirati della strada, rumeni o di etnia Rom, che investivano persone italianissime.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">Se ci concentriamo sui pedoni travolti per strada (non ho trovato dati relativi agli incidenti tra autoveicoli), in Italia ne vengono investiti ogni giorno 60, dei quali 2 muoiono e 58 si feriscono gravemente (<a href="http://www.allaguida.it/articolo/sicurezza-stradale-ancora-troppi-pedoni-investiti/8184/">fonte</a> con dati più approfonditi). E' molto probabile che gli incidenti avvenuti per scontri tra autoveicoli provochino anche più di due morti al giorno in media. Ciò non vuol sminuire la gravità del fatto accaduto ieri a Roma, però è indice che la sicurezza stradale non è messa crisi a cauda degli stranieri brutti, sporchi, cattivi e ubriachi. Però questo all'informazione italiana non interessa. E forse non interessa nemmeno agli Italiani, ai quali importa che ieri sia stato un sporco criminale moldavo a uccidere il ragazzo e mandare all'ospedale gli altri due.</p>

In toata maretia ei Italia pare interesanta . <!--more-->Nu atat pentru vestigiile istorice , care nu sunt sclabiciunea mea , dar si pentru ele , dar mai mult pentru relieful divers, de la Alpi la Mediterana ... orasele si plajele sale , va trebui neaparat s-o vizitam, de la nord la sud, pana -n Sicilia . Unde mai pui ca sunt si ei latini ca si noi , avem limbi asemanatoare ...</p>

<p>In ce priveste Grecia dar si Ciprul si Creta ,sincer sa fiu , nu m-a prea impresionat . Nu le-am vazut nici o data .In zona am fost doar in Turcia ,o data, pana la Istambul , si asta doar pentru doua, trei  zile ...</p>
<p>Desi aveam in plan un concediu, in peninsula ,poate chiar in anul acesta,  cred ca o sa-l amanam pe alta data . Marea este intradevar superba , dar atat ... In afara de micile localitati, cu casele albe ,specifice, situate pe versanti dezgoliti ai muntilor, zona nu pare a se recomanda celor cu afectiuni cardiace ...</p>
<p>Din filmuletul prezentat nu am regasit prea multe lucruri care sa ma intereseze. Poate doar preturile ... asa ca astept sa ma contraziceti sau sa-mi dati sfaturi privind un eventual concediu in cele doua tari ... Ce sa vizitam si eventuale tarife , preturi .</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p style="margin-bottom:0;">Die <a title="Südtirol Classic" href="http://www.suedtirolclassic.com/de/Default.aspx?menId=608,590">„Südtirol Classic“</a> in <a title="Schenna" href="http://www.burggrafenamt.com/de/land-leute/meraner-land/schenna.html">Schenna</a> - 6. bis 13. Juli 2008 - war und bleibt eine besondere Art, sich mit dem Thema Auto auseinanderzusetzen. Eine etwas gemütlichere, als man es von Autorennen gewohnt ist. Da treffen sich Autofreaks, die sich vor allem mit alten Modellen auseinandersetzen und – natürlich – auch eines besitzen. Bummelfahrten, gutes Essen, sich unter Freuden treffen, das steht bei der „Südtirol Classic“ im Vordergrund. Die Rally selbst besteht aus Rundfahrten durch die schönsten Gegenden Südtirols.</p>
<p style="margin-bottom:0;">Die erste Route führte ab 9:30 Uhr von Schenna über den Jaufenpass nach Sterzing und dann nach Wiesen/Pfitsch. Nach der Mittagspause fuhr die Truppe nach Brixen, Klausen, Bozen und zurück nach Schenna. Am 2. Tag gings über die MeBo zum Messner Mountain Museum, kurz <a title="Messner Mountain Museum" href="http://www.messnermountainmuseum.de/page.php?vrid=A6741EA65EEFF41666F4C49E5E197E8E&#38;lng=de">MMM</a> genannt. Nach dessen Besichtigung fuhr man nach <a title="Eppan an der Weinstraße" href="http://www.weinstrasse.com/de/land-leute/eppan.html">Eppan</a> in die Fraktion Perdonig zur Mittagspause. Später führt die Tour über die Staatsstraße zurück an den Ausgangspunkt in Schenna.</p>
<p style="margin-bottom:0;">Der dritte Tag bringt eine Fahrt nach Pfatten ins Fahrsicherheitszentrum und einen Shopping-Nachmittag in der Landeshauptstadt. Der sogenannte Abendprolog am nächsten Tag führte über <a title="Dorf Tirol in Südtirol" href="http://www.burggrafenamt.com/de/land-leute/meraner-land/dorf-tirol.html">Dorf Tirol</a>, durch das Zentrum von Meran nach Sinich und von da zurück nach Schenna. Die 5. Rute wurde zur Dolomitenrundfahrt, die 6. zu einer Erlebnisfahrt durch das restliche Südtirol wie z.B.   Nonsberg, Mendelpass, Ultental, Kalterer See. Das Team mit dem lustigen Namen „Leberwurst“ gewann die Mannschaftswertung, in der Gesamtwertung machten die „Martinis“ mit dem VW "Karmann Ghia Typ 14" das Rennen. Gute Organisation bringt natürlich angenehme Ergebnisse. Die Verantwortlichen freuen sich über die internationale Beteiligung und gute Kritik...</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I was sitting with the T.V. on today. Yes, I said sitting, not watching. The boob tube is a great source for background noise that I can ignore. However, there was one thing that refused to be ignored. That was car commercials. The first was as meek as an ant and was almost unnoticeable. However, within the next few hours a swarm of them infested the screen. Now, a car commercial is a car commercial and usually I pay no notice. But this time was different, being because none of them were different. They were practically the same commercial, but with a different brand and different car. To sum up all the basis of the commercials within a a few words, it was "This car is fuel efficient and will save you gas!"</p>
<p>Though I appreciate a car that saves me money  with the ridiculous gas prices of today as much as the next person, whatever happened to creativity? It just seems like Ad agencies are taking the easy way out on this one.</p>
<p>Scene: Ad group sitting at table brainstorming for a car commercial.</p>
<p>Dude with too much gel in his hair: "Hey, gas prices suck right now! How about we remind people of how much they suck by using that as the basis of the commercial? It practically sells itself!"</p>
<p>All (in unison): "Super idea!"</p>
<p>Yes, practically. Except, we the people know how badly gas prices suck right now. We are the ones doling out the dough . We would much rather appreciate seeing a little creativity or maybe even a little humor in car commercials instead of how much of our check is going down the tank.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0;"><span style="font-size:small;font-family:Times New Roman;">Recently Edmunds.com published a story about the top 10 most efficient 4-door cars available.<span>  </span>They ranked the cars based on EPA fuel economy numbers.<span>  </span>And would you guess that not one car from an American manufacturer made the list!</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0;"><span style="font-size:small;"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;">With gas prices on the never-ending rise…..it’s clear that foreign automakers have their finger on the pulse of the car buying world.<span>  </span></span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0;"><span style="font-size:small;"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;">Do American car companies just not care about what consumers want?<span>  </span></span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0;"><span style="font-size:small;"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;">We do know that there are domestic hybrids out there……such as: the Ford Escape, Saturn Vue, and Chevy Silverado.<span>  </span>But these are not cars at all!!!!!!<span>  </span>They are SUV’s and Trucks.<span>  </span>It seems that American car makers have decided to take aim at areas outside the hybrid car market.<span>  </span></span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0;"><span style="font-size:small;font-family:Times New Roman;">So the Japanese have such a stranglehold on the hybrid car market, and the big American manufacturers won’t even give it a try.<span>  </span>Actually Saturn does have Aura and that’s about it!!<span>  </span>But now there is hope on the horizon…..</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0;"><span style="font-size:small;"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;">The Chevy Malibu Hybrid is coming out late this year.<span>  </span>Horary for all you Bow Tie fans out there.<span>  </span>But wait….just how good is the Malibu Hybrid….well according to the EPA; 27 MPG is the average you can expect to get out of this car.<span>  </span>That is absolutely hilarious….my Nissan Sentra which is 8 years old, tops that number by 3 MPG and I don’t even practice gas saving driving.<span>  </span></span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0;"><span style="font-size:small;"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;">But what about Ford all the Blue Oval fans out there shout?<span>  </span>Nope…sorry…Ford doesn’t make a hybrid car.<span>  </span>But the Escape hybrid SUV gets 32 MPG which is still better than the Malibu hybrid.<span>   </span></span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0;"><span style="font-size:small;"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;">So 9 out of the 10 most fuel efficient sedans come from Japanese auto makers.<span>  </span>The tenth comes from Kia.<span>  </span>Kia……a company that is tiny compared to the big American Automakers.<span>  </span>The future does not look good for domestic vehicles.<span>  </span></span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0;"><span style="font-size:small;"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;">Of course the reigning champions are still there…..the Civic hybrid, the Prius hybrid, and the Camry hybrid are all on the list.<span>  </span>The interesting thing is that 6 of the 10 most fuel efficient 4 door cars are not hybrids at all.<span>  </span>They are small gasoline powered cars such as the Corolla.<span>  </span></span></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0;"><span style="font-size:small;"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;"><span style="color:#ffffff;">The electric wheel motors will be powered by electro magnets and computers.<span>  </span>All stuff that is way over my head.<span>  </span>Just think of it as cool Bullet Train or roller coaster technology.<span>  </span>Nevertheless….a pretty smart idea.<span>  </span>Of course the car will run on battery power for a certain number of miles before the diesel engine kicks on.<span>  </span>And since the engine will not be connected to a transmission; the power made will be transferred more efficiently to the batteries or a fuel cell.<span>  </span>All of this adds up to a 160 MPG car…..Hopefully this technology will reach us before our economy collapses due to skyrocketing gas prices! <span>  </span></span></span></span></p>

<p>Ich habe vor ein paar Tagen einen interessanten Artikel über Konsumgüter gelesen,  die aus unserem heutigen Leben nicht mehr wegzudenken sind, wie Fernseher, Computer, Autos... Es ging darum, dass viele Menschen, unter ihnen auch namhafte Personen und Branchen-Chefs, nicht an den Erfolg dieser Produkte glaubten.</p>
<p><strong>Fernseher.</strong> Darryl F. Zanuck, der Chef der Filmgesellschaft 20th Century Fox sagte 1950: <strong>"Der Fernseher wird sich auf dem Markt nicht durchsetzen. Die Menschen werden sehr bald müde sein, jeden Abend auf eine Sperrholzkiste zu starren."</strong> <span style="color:#ff9900;"><strong> Die</strong> <strong>g</strong></span><span style="color:#ff9900;"><strong>roße Täuschung</strong></span>: Allein in Deutschland besitzen 95% der Haushalte mindestens einen Fernseher!</p>
<p><strong>Computer</strong>. Eine der spektakulärsten Fehlprognosen der jüngeren Wirtschaftsgeschichte betrifft die Computerbranche. <a href="http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thomas_J._Watson#Chef_der_IBM">Thomas Watson</a> (CEO von IBM) sagte 1943 den denkwürdigen Satz: <strong>"Ich denke, dass es einen Weltmarkt für vielleicht fünf Computer gibt"</strong>.  Ein wenig später,<!--more--> im Jahr 1977, meinte der Präsident der Digital Equipment Corporation (die 1998 von Compaq übernommen wurde): "<strong>Es gibt keinen Grund dafür, dass jemand einen Computer zu Hause haben will.</strong>" <strong><span style="color:#ff9900;">Die</span></strong> <strong><span style="color:#ff9900;">g</span><span style="color:#ff9900;">roße Täuschung</span></strong>: Mehr als 250 Millionen verkaufte Rechner allein im Jahr 2007, sprechen da eine andere Sprache!</p>
<p><strong>Autos:</strong> <a href="http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gottlieb_Daimler">Gottlieb Daimler</a>, Miterfinder des Automobils, sagte voraus, dass "<strong>die weltweite Nachfrage nach Kraftfahrzeugen, eine Million nicht überschreiten werde</strong>". Als einen der Hauptgründe nannte er den "<strong>Mangel an verfügbaren Chauffeuren."</strong> - klar, wenn man sein Auto zwar selbst baut, aber nicht selbst fährt, kann man solchem Denkfehler schon einmal unterliegen. <strong><span style="color:#ff9900;">Die g</span><span style="color:#ff9900;">roße Täuschung</span></strong>: Allein in Deutschland gibt es knapp 55 Millionen Kraftfahrzeuge, und weltweit geht man von der Zahl von rund einer Milliarde aus!</p>

But for each one of those guys who<a href="http://cardboardicons.wordpress.com/files/2008/07/maas.jpg"></a> have had their names, faces and resumes engraved in bronze and placed in Monument Park, there are dozens of other legends whose accomplishments, or lack thereof, are engrained in the minds of fans and particularly of baseball card collectors. In 1990, the hobby had two major budding superstars: Ken Griffey Jr. and Frank Thomas. But at Yankee Stadium there was another youngster with apparent Ruthian power trying to make a name for himself. That was Kevin Maas.<!--more--></span></div>
<div><span style="font-size:small;font-family:Times New Roman;">Just mention the name to collectors who were around in 1990 and you’ll hear a deep sigh. Before Sammy Sosa took top billing in the 1990 Upper Deck set, there was Maas, the supposed heir apparent to another Yankee legend, Don Mattingly. Maas burst onto the scene blasting 21 homers in just 79 games. And in the process he won the hearts of Yankee fans and card collectors alike. This card, his Upper Deck rookie, was the cream of the crop. It instantly became one of the hottest rookie cards in the hobby, right up there with the 1989 Upper Deck Griffey and 1990 Leaf Thomas. Maas’ popularity was on a ridiculous scale and it actually led to one of my dumbest decisions I ever made in this hobby, although it did lead to a cool story.</span></div>
<div><span style="font-size:small;font-family:Times New Roman;">After the 1990 season, two young American League sluggers were scheduled to sign at a card show in San Jose, California. They were Frank Thomas and Kevin Maas. My friends and I planned a trip to that large regional show (it was only 10 miles away but we needed rides from our mothers) that year where both guys were signing. I was 10 years old, the youngest of the bunch by atleast two years, but none of us really had the means to afford both autographs so we were forced to chose: Thomas or Maas. We ALL chose Maas (in part because his brother, Jason, was signing with him for free), except one friend, who attended the show with his father and got both signatures. But that’s not the kicker.</span></div>
<div><span style="font-size:small;font-family:Times New Roman;">While standing in the line for Maas (which appeared to be much longer than the one for Thomas) a discussion broke out about getting his autograph on a rookie card. Many people had baseballs in hand, and a few even had some of his ProCards minor league issues. But some had the coveted 1990 Upper Deck rookie in one hand and a sharpie in the other. At the time the consensus among the dozen or so people discussing this issue was that it was a dumb move. Any ink, including that put there by the player himself, would ruin the value of the card. This funny considering the times we are in now where signed rookie cards are the rage.</span></div>
<div><span style="font-size:small;font-family:Times New Roman;">But again that’s not the funny story I was talking about. That actually took place later during the show.</span></div>

<div><span style="font-size:small;font-family:Times New Roman;">After getting the legend’s signature, my friends and I gawked at our signed cards (I chose to have my less desirable 1990 Fleer rookie autographed) and then spent time visiting the dozens of dealer tables. About two hours into the show I needed to use the restroom, and no less than 10 seconds after being there, a man walked in and headed to the urinal next to me. It was Kevin Maas. Star struck and in disbelief, I did several double takes before he made it across the room. Was that the new Yankee star? The guy who is pictured on the baseball card in my back pocket? The man who almost won American League Rookie of Year? It was … and he was about to break Man Rule No. 1: No Talking In The Restroom. “Hey, kid,” he said, acknowledging my stares and further reaffirming my notion that it was him. And that was the extent of the interaction. I left without saying a word, and I did not asking him to sign anything because even then I knew it was not a good idea to have any interaction in the restroom other than a nod of the head to acknowledge someone’s presence. Maas’s career didn’t really amount to much. He went on to hit a total of 65 career home runs, 64 as a Yankee and 1 as a Twin, and was out of baseball by the late 90s.But still he’s a legend in the game of baseball, just in a different sense of the word.</span></div>

<p>Der niederländische Künstler <a title="http://www.florentijnhofman.nl/" href="http://www.florentijnhofman.nl/" target="_blank">Florentijn Hofman</a> veränderte das Aussehen seiner Vans so, dass diese wie offizielle Fahrzeuge von <a title="TNT Florentijn Hofman" href="http://www.florentijnhofman.nl/index.php?page=projects&#38;id=10">TNT</a> und <a title="DHL Florentijn Hofman" href="http://www.florentijnhofman.nl/index.php?page=projects&#38;id=1" target="_blank">DHL</a> aussahen. Die Kraft der Logos, die er erforschen wollte, war so stark, dass er nie einen Strafzettel erhielt, obwohl er nach Lust und Laune und ohne Parkerlaubnis parkte.</p>
<p>Kunst kann echt praktisch sein.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;">Volevo proporvi una ricerca che ho fatto su internet per presentarvi questi due combustibili di nuova generazione e cercare in qualche modo di sfatare qualche conservatorismo che ancora aleggia tra la popolazione. Convenzionalmente le automobili spinte da motori a benzina e a gasolio oggi inquinano molto meno rispetto al passato, però i due principali elementi inquinanti, che sono gli ossidi di azoto e il particolato, sono ancora un grosso problema da risolvere. Infatti anche i motori “Common Rail” di ultima generazione, nonostante tutti gli sforzi, emettono ancora grossi quantitativi di particelle inquinanti.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;">Quindi è ora di guardare avanti e sfruttare queste nuove fonti di energia che sono più pulite. Per quanto riguarda il motore a GPL prenderò come riferimento quello che la Subaru ha dato in dotazione alla nuova Impreza e per il motore ad Etanolo vi riporterò l’esperienza fatta dagli ingegneri Saab.</p>

Per quanto riguarda i motori viene utilizzato allo stato gassoso e la composizione chimica della miscela Propano-Butano garantisce alle auto ottime prestazioni in termini di potenza, elasticità e affidabilità in quanto brucia senza lasciare residui carboniosi nel motore, allungando la durata delle candele, dei pistoni e non intacca le proprietà dell’olio motore.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;">Sulla nuova Subaru Impreza debutta un nuovo sistema di iniezione gassosa sequenziale falsato multipoint, che rappresenta la punta di diamante dell’attuale tecnologia nel campo dell’iniezione gassosa per motori. Questo sistema soddisfa i requisiti richiesti dall’attuale livello tecnologico della vettura, di quello delle future generazioni, dei livelli di emissioni inquinanti e dalle norme della diagnosi di bordo (OBD).</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;">Come funziona l’impianto? Il GPL viene prelevato dal serbatoio allo stato liquido e tramite una condotta giunge all’elettrovalvola di intercettazione gas, posta nel vano motore. Da questa valvola il GPL fluisce verso il riduttore/vaporizzatore, che ha il compito di trasmutare il liquido in gas e di ridurre la pressione ai valori consoni per il funzionamento del sistema. La centralina Fly SF misura la temperatura e la pressione del gas che alimenta gli iniettori e regola di conseguenza i tempi di iniezione gas mentre il controllo della miscela carburante/aria è assicurato dalla centralina benzina, che è posta con un collegamento seriale alla centralina gas. Così in caso di un guasto anche se si sta andando a gas la centralina gas lo induividerà e potrà effettuare l’immediata commutazione a benzina, garantendo l’integrità degli organi del motore e il mantenimento dei livelli di inquinanti. Quindi il veicolo rispetterà sempre le norme OBD.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;">Anche il passaggio da un carburante all’altro è di tipo sequenziale. La centralina Fly SF è in grado di fare il passaggio un cilindro per volta, rendendo inavvertibile il passaggio da una condizione di guida all’altra. L’avviamento della vettura avviene tramite benzina, e il passaggio a GPL avviene esclusivamente al raggiungimento delle condizione minime previste dal sistema. Se si esaurisce il GPL la centralina commuta automaticamente a benzina. Con il sistema di alimentazione delle Subaru Bi-Fuel la differenza di prestazioni del veicolo è impercettibile, parliamo infatti di un 2-3% di perdita di potenza.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;">
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;">L’Impreza Bi-Fuel è equipaggiata con un serbatoio toroidale installato nel vano della ruota di scorta. Le attuali normative in campo di sicurezza prevedono che il serbatoio sia pieno fino all’80% della sua capacità massima, in modo da consentirgli di assorbire qualsisi dilatazione del GPL liquido col crescere della temperatura. Quindi in questo serbatoio ci stanno fino a 44 litri di GPL.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;">L’etanolo (o BioEtanolo) è un carburante di origine vegetale prodotto in prevalenza dalla fermentazione delle biomasse, ovvero da prodotti agricoli ricchi di zuccheri come cereali, amidacei e vinacce. Per la propulsione dei motori viene utilizzato l’Etanolo E85, ovvero una miscela formata per l’85% da BioEtanolo e per il 15% da Benzina, che garantisce ottime prestazioni di cavalleria e di coppia, in quanto il numero di ottano dell’E85 è di 104 RON contro i soli 95 della benzina. Così si può incrementare la pressione di sovralimentazione e l’anticipo dell’accensione con conseguente incremento della potenza senza nessun danno a scapito dell’affidabilità.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;">La Saab è stata una delle prime case automobilistiche a credere di più nel progetto dell’E85, perché questo tipo di combustibile crea un ridotto impatto sull’ambiente, visto che non è di origine fossile e elimina le emissioni di biossido di carbonio, e rende il comportamento su strada delle vetture più sportivo, visto che l’incremento di potenza è attorno al 15-18%. Inoltre non servono grandi modifiche all’impianto base dell’auto. Infatti l’E85 si può mescolare alla benzina in qualsiasi proporzione, e quando dico mescolare lo intendo nel senso più casereccio visto che hanno lo stesso serbatoio, e le uniche modifiche da apportare al motore sono la sostituzione delle valvole con una serie più robusta e la realizzazione delle componenti dell’impianto di alimentazione compatibili col Bioetanolo.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;">L’artefice del giusto funzionamento di questi propulsori è la Saab Trionic 8, una centralina elettronica a 32 bit che rileva la posizione della farfalla e la quantità d’aria in entrata, regola la fasatura, l’iniezione del carburante, la massa d’aria e la pressione di sovralimentazione. Questa centralina è in grado di adattarsi alle diverse fasature dell’accensione ed esigenze della miscela aria/carburante. Praticamente dopo ogni rifornimento la Trionic controlla la qualità del carburante immesso nel serbatoio e porta automaticamente tutte le correzioni del caso, così da garantire un’ottimale rendimento del propulsore qualsiasi siano le proporzioni di E85 e benzina.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;">Il progetto <em>Bioethanol for Sustainable Transport</em> (BEST) ha l'obiettivo di dimostrare la fattibilità della sostituzione di benzina e diesel con il bioetanolo. BEST è supportato dalla commissione europea e coinvolge 6 paesi europei con la partecipazione di Brasile e Cina.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;">Nel complesso gli obiettivi del progetto sono l'introduzione di 10.500 auto Flex (auto con motore che può usare indifferentemente benzina o bioetanolo) e 160 autobus a bioetanolo. Inoltre il progetto prevede la costruzione di 148 stazioni di rifornimento, 135 delle quali per l'E85 e 13 per l'E95.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;">Le città in cui il progetto è operativo sono: Stoccolma, Rotterdam, Somerset, Dublino, Madrid e La Spezia.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;">Per la città di La Spezia il progetto prevede la costruzione di 3 stazioni di rifornimento (due per E85, una per E95, le prime in Italia) e l'introduzione di 100 auto Flex (10 a carico del comune e 90 di piccole e medie imprese).</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Scusate lo sfogo ma è un periodo che sento un sacco di gente dalla strada alla TV dire che l'idrogeno è il futuro, che l'idrogeno ci libererà dalla benzina grazie ai motori ad idrogeno o alle celle di carburante: guardate che non può funzionare, e non lo dico io lo dice la fisica!</p>
<p>O meglio funzionare funziona e anche bene ma non conviene assolutamente: e adesso mi spiego (o almeno ci provo)</p>
<p>Esistono 2 tipi fondamentali di uso per l'idrogeno: i motori a combustione e le celle di carburante.</p>
<p>I motori a combustione possono bruciare qualsiasi carburante (con i dovuti accorgimenti) e l'idrogeno è un ottimo combustibile, di fatto un'auto predisposta per il funzionamento a metano potrebbe già andare a idrogeno senza troppe modifiche. E allora direte voi dov'è la fregatura? la fregatura sta nel fatto che l'idrogeno in natura non esiste da solo, si lega con estrema facilità all'ossigeno (per formare acqua) e ad altri elementi come il carbonio per formare gli idrocarburi come la nostra beneodiata benzina e siccome per una nota legge fisica l'energia necessaria per scindere una molecola è perlomeno uguale (se non superiore) all'energia che potrà fornirci in seguito ne consegue che per ottenere l'idrogeno ci serve più energia di quanta ne potremo ricavare bruciandolo. Inoltre dalla scissione dell'idrogeno si ricavano quantitativi elevatissimi di monossido di carbonio e dalla sua comubustione si ricavano ossidi d'azoto (NOx) in quantità comparabili a quelle di un motore a scoppio tradizione.</p>
<p>Qualcuno potrà obiettare che l'idrogeno si potrebbe ottenere come "scarto" da alcune lavorazioni industriali ma la quantità così ottenuta non è certamente sufficiente a muovere i milioni di auto che abbiamo sulle strade infatti ad oggi la maggior parte dell'idrogeno è ricavato dal gas naturale.</p>
<p>Altro discorso per le celle di carburante: qui si scinde chimicamente un idrocarburo come la benzina o il metanolo, oppure si fanno reagire  idrogeno e ossigeno e si ricava energia dalla trasformazione chimica. L'unico scarto delle celle a carburante a idrogeno è acqua distillata. Le celle a idrogeno sono le più efficienti mentre quelle a carburante hanno un rendimento molto inferiore. Qui il problema è che le celle hanno un efficienza anche alta (sfiorano l'80% di rendimento per una cella ossigeno-idrogeno in condizioni ottimali contro il 60% dei motori a combustione interna) ma solo quando l'assorbimento è basso; aumentando l'assorbimento i rendimenti crollano decisamente avvicinandosi di molto a quelli del motore a scoppio. Al calcolo non bisogna poi dimenticarsi di aggiungere l'energia necessaria per costruire le celle e quella per ricavare l'idrogeno che porta quindi il bilancio energetico a sfavore. Oltretutto rimane ancora valido il discorso legato alla produzione dell'idrogeno.</p>
<p>Le celle a carburante invece sono ancora limitate come potenze e rendimenti: solo a titolo di esempio una cella a metanolo da <a href="http://www.h2planet.eu/ita/prodotto.php?id=42&#38;n=1&#38;hash=ab45b12da845305319422651200f57ae">1600Wh/Giorno</a> (65W) consuma 1,1l/Kwh, un generatore a scoppio da 650W (<a href="http://www.grecoshop.it/store/scheda.asp?id=731">15600Wh/giorno</a> quindi quasi 10 volte più potente) consuma circa 1l/Kwh.</p>
<p>Non è detto che in futuro celle alcaline o polimeriche non riescano a ottenere vantaggi reali dal punto di vista dell'economia del carburante ma oggi non è ancora così. L'energia gratis non esiste, l'unico sistema se si vuole realmente ottenere qualcosa è quello del risparmio energetico e di cercare di sfruttare le energie rinnovabili magari combinandole fra loro (eolica, geotermica, biogas e solare).</p>

Een zeldzaam woord ook. Want hoe vaak bevindt een mens zich in een staat van woestheid?</p>
<p>Woest staat voor wild en woedend tegelijkertijd. Ben ik zelf ooit echt al Woest geweest? Wat zou je zo kwaad kunnen maken dat je er wild en Woest van wordt? Google, my friend, tell me!</p>
<p>En zo ontdek ik <a href="http://www.demorgen.be/dm/nl/989/Binnenland/article/detail/342661/2008/07/10/Britse-piloot-woest-over-8-maanden-in-Belgische-cel.dhtml" target="_blank">dat een Britse piloot vorige woensdag nog Woest was</a> op het Belgische gerecht. Omdat hij acht maanden in een Belgische cel werd opgesloten en beschuldigd werd zonder enig bewijs. Ja, da's een goeie reden om wat Woester van te worden.<br />
Aha, en <a href="http://www.express.be/sectors/nl/auto/vakbonden-woest-op-ford-genk/90841.htm" target="_blank">de vakbonden waren ook Woest</a>. Op Ford Genk, omdat de fabriek het verlies door een staking wil recupereren aan de hand van besparingen. Kwaad zijn is de meest essentiële bestaansreden van de vakbonden, évidemment. En wanneer ze echt Woest worden, levert dat meestal mooie beelden op: schreeuwende gezichten, brandende vuren en rokende autobanden, een snuifje opstand en revolutie.<br />
En een medeblogger was 3 jaar geleden ook Woest. <a href="http://peke.skynetblogs.be/post/1206556/razend-woest-furieus-moordlustigen-toch-o-zo-" target="_blank">Omdat zijn auto kapot was</a> (yep, it's a guy!). En hij lost zijn Woestheid op met een louterende sessie préparemaken.</p>
<p style="text-align:left;">Er blijken warempel veel redenen te zijn om Woest te worden! Of is de wereld minder kwaadaardig dan hij lijkt en overdrijven mijn soortgenoten-journalisten gewoon graag in hun krantenkoppen? Ze mogen dat meer doen, want ik word behoorlijk vrolijk van dat wonderlijk woeste woord!</p>
