Heath Ledger comes in third, propelled by the suddenness of his tragic death and impressive performance as Joker in The Dark Knight. The relative unknown (compared to her sister Britney Spears) Jamie Lynn Spears took the fourth spot with her teenage pregnancy, while party-girl-turned-protective-mom Nicole Richie finished fifth. Pop-star-turned-country-crooner Jessica Simpson managed sixth. The adorable Suri Cruise outdid her parents Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes by garnering the seventh spot. Not to be outdone, fellow celebrity tot Shiloh Jolie-Pitt followed in mama Angie's footsteps and landed eight. Heidi Montag of The Hills took the ninth. Owen Wilson rounded up the Top 10 list.

What, no Brad Pitt? Frequent cover-lander Britney Spears also didn't make it (in fact, she was at the bottom of last year's list, a dubious honor now secured by Miley Cyrus).

Aside from launching a thousand magazines off newsstands by landing on their covers, Angelina Jolie is an internet staple. Whether it's breezing into NYC so that Brad Pitt could attend to housebuilding projects in New Orleans and they could attend the premiere of her movie The Changeling (the better to show off her newly altered tattoo), or unceremoniously breezing out back to Nice, France (with their tots in their jammies), the paparazzi hound the super couple just so the rest of the world could love 'em or hate 'em.

She talks about just looking at him and loving him, enough to make the staunch adoption supporter have kids of her own. And the latest magazine cover to cause an internet frenzy is of her being photographed breastfeeding one of her twins. The W magazine also promised to dish out private photos taken by her beau. (You still remember that this is the same magazine where Brangelina had a photo spread entitled Domestic Bliss during the whole Team Aniston v Team Jolie feud, right?)

Love 'em or hate 'em, you just can't help seeing sites and magazines which talk about them. Now the question is what you do afterwards.

If possible, I would wear broken-in jeans and white shirts (tee, button-down, tank, I'm not picky about the style) every single day for the rest of my life. There's just something crisp, clean and totally easy about this combination. You don't have to worry about matching anything (everything matches!), you can dress it up or keep it casual (how versatile!), you can just breathe easier knowing how classic you look (unless you spill then everyone will see it!).

I used to wear jeans and white shirts sooften in high school that my friend Sarah laid down the law to force me into wearing color - I'm still not sure why I actually obeyed but whatever. She told me I could only wear jeans and white ONCE every week. I did it but remember it was the hardest thing ever. I'm being completely serious, so you can stop laughing whenever. I think it was just a huge source of comfort for me, and since I was just a teensy * bit self-conscious as an 11th grader, I latched onto whatever source of safety I could get.

I love when celebrities wear jeans and white because, let's face it, they look gorgeous most of the time anyways and it's always better to look at pretty people for fashion advice. Also, they can get away with and afford to wear whatever they want (as demonstrated by Britney Spears and the Olsen twins in the previous post), so how wonderful that they love my favorite outfit, too! Sources close to the 59-year-old actress say she wanted to support an opponent of Democrat Angelina Jolie, whom she blames for precipitating her divorce from Brad Pitt, but couldn’t stomach the idea of backing Republican Bobby Jindal.

It was Ledger's mysterious and all-too-early death that made him front-cover news--something he hadn't been prior to his passing. Paul Sculfor has admitted that he used to be an excessive cocaine user.

The British model - who is dating Cameron Diaz, 35 – was so hooked on the class A drug so it began to affect his appearance.

‘I bitterly regret using cocaine,’ he says. 'Apart from anything else, it made my hair fall out.

'It started falling out in my partying years, because excessive cocaine abuse affects the adrenal system and halts hair growth. I'm lucky it grew back.’

Fortunately, Paul, 37, says he managed to turn his life around with the help of his family.

Britney Spears driving without a valid licence plea deal

Britney Spears has rejected a plea deal in her ongoing court case for allegedly driving without a valid licence.

The charge stems from a minor accident involving Britney last summer, when she hit a parked car and left without notifying the owner.

The singer was offered probation for a year and a £75 fine.

But her lawyer J Michael Flanagan wants the deal reduced to an infraction and the fine dropped to £5.

If the case goes to trial, he intends to appeal any potential conviction, reports MTV News.

Britney, 26, is due in Los Angeles Superior Court on 15 October.

Katie Holmes: I love New York it's my new home now!

The standing ovation that Katie Holmes received for her first performance of All My Sons three weeks ago was a sign that all her hard work had paid off.

Husband Tom Cruise, 46, described her achievement as ‘extraordinary’, but behind the scenes 29-year-old Katie’s new-found love of New York has caused a growing rift between the pair.

‘Katie loves New York and considers it “her city”,’ a source tells Now.

‘Despite Tom’s firm belief that they should be in LA as that’s where the movie industry is, Katie’s enjoyed being with the grittier, more down-to-earth young actors she’s met in New York.

'It’s even transforming the way she dresses – she’s beginning to unveil more fashionable outfits whenever she’s out on her own. Compared to New York, she finds LA fake and unpleasant.’

The problem is that Tom wants her to return to LA in the New Year – but if Katie’s play has its Broadway run extended, friends say a power struggle is certain.

The premiere of Tom’s controversial Nazi film Valkyrie – which has already been put back by several months – is coming up in LA in February, but Katie’s play is set to run at least until January.

Zac Efron: Man allegedly assaulted him last night

Zac Efron is said to have been left shaken after a crazed man allegedly assaulted him last night.
The High School Musical star was leaving London’s Apollo Theatre with girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens, 19, when the middle-aged fan reportedly started hurling abuse.

He is then thought to have grabbed 20-year-old Zac’s hair causing the pair to fall to the ground.

Security guards then intervened and tackled the man.

High School Musical 3: Senior Year is released later this month.

Courtney Cox: Botox made me miserable

Courteney Cox admits she experimented with Botox and didn't like it.

‘Botox? I think it's fantastic and also horrible,’ she says.

‘I mean, they've come up with this stuff that can make you not look angry. But you have to use it sparingly.

'I went to this doctor once and he was like, “Oh, let me do it just here and here and here.” And I was miserable.’

Courteney, 44, has no plans to repeat the experience.

‘I mean, I'm an actor, I've got to be able to move my face,’ she tells Marie Claire.

‘When people start messing with their foreheads and can't lift their eyebrows, that's weird.

'It's not that I haven't tried Botox - but I hated it.’

Courteney married David Arquette, 37, nine years ago and they are parents to daughter Coco Riley, 4.

Jamie Lynn Spears’ rep has rubbished reports she's expecting her second child.

The National Enquirer claimed Britney's little sister was eight weeks gone.

But a spokesman for Jamie Lynn insists ‘she is not pregnant’.

A close pal also denied the claims.

‘I talk to [her mom] Lynne all the time,’ the source tells E! News.

‘Believe me, she would have mentioned if that little girl is expecting again.

'That's just a bunch of made-up crap.’

Jamie Lynn, 17, and fiancé Casey Aldridge, 19, already have daughter Maddie Briann, 3 months.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt return to France

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt flew back to France yesterday with their brood of kids.

The couple had been promoting Angelina’s new film Changeling in New York before making a stop-off in New Orleans.

After a busy few days, they arrived back in Nice by private jet.

Brad, 44, and Ange, 33, moved to the country ahead of the birth of twins Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline in July.

They are also parents to Shiloh, 2, Maddox, 7, Pax, 4, and Zahara, 3.

Pink has revealed that she could never have a full-blown relationship with a woman because she loves men too much.

The singer admits she’s experimented with her sexuality in the past.

‘I'm not gay so I guess I wouldn't try a relationship with a woman,’ she says.

‘I didn't say I haven't experimented but I love men too much to make it a permanent thing.’

Pink, 29 - real name Alecia Moore - recently admitted she missed her ex-husband Carey Hart’s penis.

Actor says he barely knows the Friends star

Gerard Butler has laughed off reports he’s seeing Jennifer Aniston.

The Scottish actor, 38, was linked to the Friends star after she split from musician John Mayer.

But Gerard says there's no romance.

Some people went through other things that I would never subject myself to, like using ExLax to help bodily flow, throwing up, and the use of other laxatives. When I felt that I would not make weight, I would spend the time in practice wresting the next weight up. That way, I can fall back into the lower weight, or if I didn't make it, I could wrestle in the higher weight class. I gave up wrestling after the 10th grade, as it cut into football and basketball.

Which brings me to a picture and story that I read. it had to do with stars and their weight fluctuations. really, I thought that no one cared about that, except those without a life. Now, I know that makeup hides a lot, but dang girl, you look beat down, road hard and put away wet. What the hell happened to you?

I think that we should scoop the dirt up on you and find out what happened. Friends the horribly portrayed and unrealistic go off the air and you are the only one who reappeared in a show that didn't get canceled immediately. But, as someone who banked on your sexual being, I hope you banked up your loot, since that role doesn't fit anymore...

Fun Stuff makes its triumphant return with a boatload of election-minded videos. American celebrities have long used their unproven influence to encourage their fellow citizens to vote and they've never gone as all out as this year, what with their Obama songs and all. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought Americans didn't actually get to vote for their presidents? So what is it you do vote for?

The above video, titled 5 Friends for some dumb reason, features a boatload of celebrities including Leonardo DiCaprio, Tobey Maguire, Benicio Del Toro, Sarah Silverman, Dustin Hoffman, Ashton Kutcher, Laura Linney, Jonah Hill, Natalie Portman, Forest Whitaker, Djimon Hounsou, Michelle Trachtenberg, Demi Moore, Halle Berry, Jennifer Aniston, Eva Longoria, Courteney Cox Arquette, will.i.am, Jamie Foxx, Amy Adams, Kate Bosworth, Kevin Bacon and several others.

The one below however, entitled The Muzzler, is much more low-key and features only Jessica Alba (ironically in one of her better performances) and Hayden Panettiere.

And if that wasn't enough, Rosario Dawson wrote and starred in the four-part internet musical La Pasion De La Decision to encourage American latinos to vote, directed by her co-star Wilmer Valderrama. You can see all four videos after the jump. Which would you say is more earnest/more convincing?

More Fun Stuff

Liam Gallagher is not renowned for being a merchant of profound wisdom. However, he put it quite beautifully in the Oasis anthem ‘Cigarettes and Alcohol’ when he posed the question ‘Is it worth the aggravation, to find yourself a job, when there’s nothing worth working for?’. If you haven’t faced this dilemma before, you’re either lucky or brain-dead.

It was after yet another day of grim monotony at the insurance company for which I work, that I purchased Mike Judge’s ‘Office Space’ for 3 Scottish pounds. And, perhaps with the exception of the sausage supper I devoured barely an hour ago, it was the best 3 quid I’ve ever spent.

The film revolves around the day-to-day frustrations of Peter Gibbons (played by Ron Livingston), a reluctant employee of Initech corporation, a soulless technology company in Texas. From the very beginning the tone is set with Gibbons’ agonisingly slow commute to work followed by a dressing down from his obnoxious cretin of a boss, Bill Lumbergh (played by the excellent Gary Cole).
Lumbergh, a character derived from David Van Driessen in Judge’s more famous animated series ’Beavis and Butthead’, is a magnificent portrayal of the arsehole boss. Full of empty pleasantries and an arrogant swagger typical of certain types found in middle management.

The resentment that Lumbergh, and the general tedium of working for Initech, generates in the workforce is hilariously displayed by leading character Gibbons and his two colleagues Samir Nagheenanajar (Ajay Naidu) and Michael Bolton (David Herman). Samir is furious that no-one can pronounce his name while Michael cannot bear having the same name as a famous 80’s singer.
Eventually, the trio embark on a plot to steal money from the company after Samir and Michael find out they are to be fired. But the aggression that working in a crap job can build up is best delivered in this scene where the disgruntled threesome take it out on a dodgy printer.

However, Office Space’s main strength is its wealth of other brilliant characters. Joanna (played by Jennifer Aniston) is a dippy Texan waitress who becomes the girlfriend of Gibbons, after they discover they share a love for kung-fu. Aniston’s role is brief but very enjoyable. The stressed out, paranoid Tom Smykowski (Richard Riehle) and mumbling Milton Waddams (Stephen Root) help to humourously complete the bleak picture of office life while Gibbons’ straight-talking neighbour Lawrence (Diedrich Bader) is equally funny. But my personal favourite, or favourites, are the two Bobs (played by Paul Willson and John C. McGinley) who are brought in to Initech to ’clear the decks’ of any deadwood. This scene sees the duo name and shame the soon to be sacked employees.

To conclude, Office Space is something of a hidden gem. Its comical take on the mediocrity often encountered in modern working life will strike a chord with anyone who has worked in a job they hate. And even for those who haven’t been so unfortunate, it’s a damn good watch.
