I love this day in the process because it is all dreaming and listening to God trying to discern what he has in store for a series. Right now, every idea, no matter how crazy is a good one. Any passage or big idea works. It is the best part of the sermon prep process.

If you think about it, all of us are becoming something. Just as you read that sentence, you moved from one place in a journey to another. Each day, we move from one place to the next, knowing (or forgetting) what we knew in the last minute.

Here is what I hope happens during this series. 1) Everyone would have a clear picture of what Revolution hopes to become. There is nothing worse than a church without clarity. 2) That everyone who attends Revolution would know whether or not Revolution is the church for them. Everyone won't agree with Revolution is headed and what we are about, that's okay. 3) That everyone at Revolution would have an understanding of what a follower of Jesus is like, what God expects from them.

This series is going to stretch us we talk about mission, being simple, communal, generous and being focused on the Kingdom of God instead of our kingdom.

Could have opened with many stories of great need

You might ask who needs me?  What do I have to offer?

What I find that we as westerners are really asking is  - What is in it for me? How do I benefit?  We get a very distorted view of need.

I need a new pair of shoes, I need to get something to eat, I need to take a nap, I need to go see the new movie.  I need.

financial difficulty – much of it is a trapping of our standard of living.

We get in the shape we are in because of our poor decisions and lack of planning.

Luke 10:25 “what must I do to inherit eternal life?”

                        Jesus tells him to love God and Love people - “Do this and you will live”

                        He then asks TO JUSTIFY HIMSELF “who is my neighbor?”

***“How much to do I have to do to get what I want?”

There really is a deeper need.

You are in need.  And we face people all around us every day that are in need.

We are called to them to shine the light of Christ in ways that reveal Him.

2 Main Issues for all People

Identity and purpose - 1^st John 3:1 – We are His kids

l  Played out in Luke 10:27 – ties us to purpose. We are created for this relationship  - Love Him with ALL and live it among community

Security – We all face difficulty – financial, physical, emotional, spiritual

l  We were designed to face it together

l  It is part of the 2 part command of God – Love your neighbor

  Who? Anyone in need

  We are to meet the needs of people where ever we can

  It is a lifestyle is issue – not what's in it for me, but what can I do for them

  Matthew 6 – do it because it's right, not to be seen

Will you take me and hide me inside of you ?

I will sway slowly in your chest

Away from the crowd

Away from the staring eyes

Away into your shoreless depth.

I think this is the answer for many of the struggles that we all go through. The challenge is simple:  if you are married, sex everyday for 30 days. If you are single, abstaining from sex for 30 days. I would say for singles, that includes sex, oral sex, self-love, the whole list.

Why 30 days? They say it takes 30 days to create a habit.

To go with the challenge, Relevant developed an assorment of resources. There is an emotional needs questionnaire, a 30 day devotional guide for couples, and a 30 day devotional guide for singles. These are great ways to journey through this challenge. As a couple or as a single, you can journal and work through questions that deal with your feelings, fears, uncertainties and joys that come up because of the challenge.

Should be a good time.

I didn't get home until a little after midnight.
And I got my C++ software in the mail yesterday (WOO-HOO, other than now I have to install it and do the real work, grr).  
And, um, I have like 13 episodes of TLM on my iPod!  It's greatness! <--I love having access to blazing fast internet at school (I didn't think you could download files at school, but oh, I can.  And I did, and it's great).

What else.  
Oh yes, I <3 TLM.  It's the awesomest Podcast in the world.  Granted, I don't listen to many (this is the only one), but it is just that wonderful.  Sandi, the lady who does it, is just so charismatic.  Totally awesome, you have no idea.  It's just so random and so just THERE.  I love it.  So much I messaged her on MySpace.  Which I got a reply to!!  So I'm messaging her back.
Speaking of messages....Kathy should be here this weekend.  We'll see, but she said she'd be here.
And GLEE.  I've gotten more spam messages than real messages.  
What's a Jugglette?  (I think I spelled that right).  
Anyway, GLEE is nice and all, but it seems like I'll be fighting the spam.  Oh well.

I. God’s Amazing Plan. God's amazing plan is to exalt Christ over the whole world. Jesus is the King of Kings and has authority and power over all. Ephesians 1:22 says, all will submit to Christ, including governments, evil forces, even Satan. Jesus is God's gift to the church. Ephesians 1:23 defines the church as Christ's body. The word "church" comes from the Greek word "ecclesia," which means “called out” or “chosen people.” Throughout the New Testament, the word "ecclesia" is used to refer to the community of believers who are redeemed by the blood of Jesus. Hence, the church refers to a select group of people and not a building or edifice. Ephesians 1:1 addresses the church as “saints” which means a special people set apart from the rest. It needs to be connected to the Head, which means believers must have a relationship with Christ. When you raise your hand or wiggle your toes, your body is following orders from the brain. To have a relationship with Christ is to obey what He says. The church is also Christ's representative on earth. God wants to use the church to have His love, care and wisdom known to the world and to authorities in the heavenly places.

II. Man’s Awful Dilemma. However, we have problems that cannot be addressed with superficial solutions. But problems go much deeper. If you do not understand the real problem, you cannot prescribe the right solution. Ephesians 2:1-2 shows us that our real problem is sin. We are dead to sins and trespasses, hence, we have no appetite for the things of God. A person who is spiritually dead follows the values of this world by seeking security in pride, position and possessions. This is in accordance to the spirit that is now working in the sons of disobedience, Satan (Ephesians 2:2). Satan’s strategy is to lie by saying, “All religions are okay for as long as you are sincere.” But Jesus tells us, “I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” No religion can save us. A dead person cannot change for the better on its own. Sin or “hamartia” means to miss the target. It is not merely committing an offense, but it is also not doing what we are supposed to do. The problem with sin is we fail to realize we are full of it. Satan perverts what is good and makes it sinful. Eating is good but when you overeat you become a glutton. Sex was invented by God and in the context of marriage, it is wonderful. But when you allow this drive to be your master, it becomes sinful. Sin is disobedience and rebellion against our loving God. Ephesians 2:3 calls unbelievers “children of wrath.” There are more verses on the wrath of God than on the love of God. The Bible says, you "are storing up wrath for yourself" (Romans 2:5) when you refuse to change. Because God is holy and righteous, He will deal with sin. Revelation 6:16-17 speak about the last prayer of people who refuse to repent or take their sinful condition seriously: "They said to the mountains and to the rocks, Fall on us and hide us from the presence of Him who sits on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb; for the great day of their wrath has come; and who is able to stand?'”

III. God’s Amazing Solution. The solution came from the heart of God who is rich in mercy and great in love (Ephesians 2:4-5). We were all rebels against God and dead in our sins, but Jesus died for us and so "having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath of God through Him." (Romans 5:9). By the blood of Jesus, we are declared not guilty and saved from the wrath of God. We deserve to die as sinners but Jesus took our place. He shed His blood and rose again so that He can give us life. God not only has given us life but He also seated us in the heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6). Today, spiritually, we are seated with Christ. Since that speaks of authority and position, hence when we pray, we must do so with authority. In the Greek language, the phrase “you have been saved” is in the past perfect tense. It is a certainty. It happened in the past and has a continuing effect. We can be sure of receiving God’s amazing solution because of grace. It is not as a result of works, that no one should boast. People try to go to heaven through good works. But since spiritually we are dead to sin, no amount of good works will save us. The only way to go to heaven is through the grace of God. And once we are saved, God wants us to be involved in good works. However, you will never experience the saving grace of God until it is activated by faith. “For by grace you have been saved through faith,” (Ephesians 2:8). Until you are willing to repent and turn your life to Jesus, you will not see the transforming power of God’s grace. When you give your life to Jesus and take that step of faith, you will know and experience the unfathomable riches of Christ!

J'ai particulièrement apprécié le message du webmaster d'anti-imperialisme.com , qui nous avoue avoir utilisé notre dernier article sur la NR-osphère pour augmenter ses sources de contenus ... Si le webmaster de cet excellent carrefour de l'information nationale-révolutionnaire nous le dit, cela prouve que notre constat sur la naissance d'un nouveau réseau de blogs révolutionnaires est tour à fait pertinent ! Il nous déclare aussi ceci : "je désirais depuis longtemps vous remercier pour votre blog qui me rapproche quotidiennement de mes racines catholiques." Cela nous conforte donc aussi dans un autre constat heureux, à savoir que nos camarades révolutionnaires sont de plus en plus sensibles à la foi Catholique. Ceux qui fréquentent tous ces sites révolutionnaires auront probablement remarqué l'évolution en ce sens.

Il y a encore moins d'un an d'ici, c'était différent ... Continuez à prier pour le réveil de l'Eglise et de l'Europe ! A l'heure où nos ennemis sont en train d'achever physiquement notre continent après l'avoir vidé de son âme, il ne peut plus y avoir de combat sans spiritualité !

Por ahora, quiero intentar ver algunos episodios de Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni Kai para ver si la termino, que ya he ocupado dos de mis artículos de reserva y ya de nuevo sólo tengo uno. :( Pero ayer simplemente no alcancé a ver nada.
