Cada uno de estos títulos cuenta con puntos positivos, mejoras y añadidos, FIFA 09 ingresó primero a la cancha lo que puede darle ventaja, sin embargo PES 09 no se queda atrás, pues arrastra gran cantidad de fanáticos desde hace muchos años, cuando hacía su calentamiento en la PS2.

Como fanático que eres, te invitamos a que luego de probar y saciarte con alguno de estos títulos, nos apoyes con tu opinión, que califiques lo positivo y si debes hacerlo castigar con tarjeta roja a estos deportivos videojuegos. ¿Qué mejor que el propio jugón? , ¿y tú, de qué equipo eres hincha?

Goles de PES 2009:

- Arrastra gran número de fanáticos desde hace mayor tiempo.
- Licencias de la Liga de Campeones.
- Nuevas animaciones, mejor control del balón y mejorada IA (inteligencia artificial).

Lanzados ya ambos demos de los mas amados-odiados simuladores de fútbol de la historia, los gamers se han lanzado de lleno a la controversia y la descalificación del demo rival. Los fanboys respectivos rasgan sus vestiduras proclamando a los 4 vientos que el demo enemigo es basura. La Madre de todas las Batallas está desatada. Konami y EA han mostrado dientes y garras y somos nosotros los llamados a escoger.

Despues de varios dias probando ambos demos, solo y acompañado, y recogiendo opiniones de veteranos de las dos sagas deportivas, uno puede ya hacer cierto análisis de las fortalezas y debilidades de cada uno.

¿Entonces?... ¿FIFA o PES?...

Jugabilidad.

FIFA 09 mejora con respecto a su entrega anterior, el juego se siente mas fluido y más rápido pero aún persiste cierta pesadez y falta de control sobre los jugadores. Cambiando pases, disparo y centros a manual o semiasistido ayuda bastante, pero aún no se llega a la jugabilidad PES. La brecha se estrecha, pero PES 2009 ha reparado sin duda la mayoria de los errores que traía la versión 2008 y se siente bastante parecido a sus parientes de PS2 en especial cuando uno le dedica tiempo al demo; es entonces que la jugabilidad va mostrando progresivamente sus fortalezas.

El Football Demo Gameplay Award va para: PES 2009.

Animaciones.

Aqui FIFA 09 se muestra soberbio y PES se queda estancado. Las animaciones del primero son increíbles, de las mejores jamás vista en un videojuego deportivo y en el segundo persiten ciertos elementos robóticos y hay pocas animaciones nuevas.

El Galvano de Animación va para: FIFA 009.

Pases.

FIFA 09 trae mas pulido este aspecto y PES está solido este año. Es difícil en este punto encontrar un simulador mejor que el otro.

La Copa de los Pases se da a: Empate.

Disparos.

Aunque ligeramente mejor que el 08, FIFA 09 aun entrega una sensacion de pelota liviana a la hora del disparo. En cambio PES 2009 trae un sistema de chute muy trabajado, la pelota se siente consistente, y yo diría que tiene el mejor disparo de las tres versiones next-gen que han salido del juego de Konami.

La Medallita de Nuestra Señora de los Chutes va para: PES 2009.

Gráfica.

FIFA 09 sin hacer mucho esfuerzo este año, y sólo manteniendo lo que entrego en la versión anterior gana en este punto ampliamente. Aunque los gráficos de PES 2009 no lucen mal, y el pasto este año recibió trabajo (solo en version 360, en PS3 esta mas o menos), hay una gran brecha entre ambos simuladores.

El Graphics Whore Award es para: FIFA 09.

Sonido.

Los juegos deportivos de EA traen simpre estupendos compilados. De echo se agradecería mucho que junto con el DVD, EA entregara un CD con la música. PES mejoró algo el desastre musical del año anterior, pero está a años luz de distancia. Como no hemos visto los comentarios no se puede opinar. El sonido del publico es reiterativo en PES, y el ruidito que hace la pelota es mediocre.

La Copa Super Sound para: FIFA 09.

Online.

FIFA 08 tenía un online impecable: ligas, 7 vs 7, sin lag, rankings, etc. PES 2008 era una desgracia en el Live y PSN. Este año FIFA incorpora el modo 10 vs 10 online, y PES tímidamente el 2 vs 2. PES promete jugar el modo Become a Legend a través de la red. ¿Dará resultado?... Si el online de Konami tiene fallas, chao PES.

Se declara desierto este importante premio, la "Copa Online Obsession", hasta no probar ambos juegos.

Equipos originales y Licencias.

Aqui gana FIFA 09. Konami logró de última hora conseguirse la Champions League por 4 años, mejorando la debacle que significaba perder la mayoria de los equipos de La Liga Española. FIFA 09 trae mas ligas y divisiones que nunca, pero aún persite en un grave error: no aparecen muchas selecciones del mundo en especial buenas selecciones sudamericanas.

El premio "Quien Tiene Mas Plata e Influencias y Compra Mas Ligas": FIFA 09.

La mayoria de los puntos estan hacia FIFA 09, sin embargo lo más importante, Jugabilidad y Disparo, aún pertenece a PES.

Al jugar de a dos personas multiplayer offline, debo decir que aunque ambos son divertidos, entretiene un poco mas un partido de PES 2009. En este último el juego fluye fácil con un factor de diversión alto, y aunque el FIFA se muestra como un serio simulador, al haber menos oportunidades de gol (como en el futbol real) la siempre subjetiva sensacion de pasarla bien no es tan grande.

En resumen, a diferencia del año pasado donde sólo roncó FIFA, este año tendremos aparentemente 2 simuladores de fútbol buenos, cada uno con sus ventajas y desventajas. Así que guerras santas no caben.

Lamentablemente ni FIFA 09 ni PES 2009 son el Gran, el Absoluto, The Ultimate Simulador de Fútbol con que los gamers soñamos cada noche.

El gran sueño imposible es jugar fútbol virtual con la fluidez y los disparos del PES, con las animaciones, la grafica y las licencias de FIFA, y con la profundidad y la administración del PC FUTBOL o un Football Manager. ¿Por qué no ponerle a un simulador de fútbol una gestión y un management complejo?...

Tal vez el 2015 lo tengamos.

E andiamo col primo post legato ai games.

I possessori di una qualsiasi piattaforma di gioco (PS3, Xbox 360, PC) avranno almeno captato la notizia dell'uscita imminente dei giochi calcistici Fifa 2009 e PES 2009. E, come in tutti gli anni, partono gli scontri di fanboy e riviste su chi sia meglio di chi, chi abbia la migliore fisica della palla, chi abbia una migliore IA e compagnia bella.

Questo post non riguarda però un paragone su quanto finora visto (tra l'altro quasi schifo il calcio nella vita reale, figuriamoci nei videogiochi), ma un'analisi del ruolo delle demo in questo teatrino.

E' presto per dirlo, ma è chiaro come il sole che queste demo saranno determinanti per le future vendite dei prodotti in questione, soprattutto considerando che il dayone sarà fondamentale. Il discorso è semplice: il consumatore, provate entrambe le demo, deciderà quale dei due giochi sarà degno del suo portafogli e lo acquisterà.

Anzi, di più. Perchè c'è poco da fare, come per la maggior parte delle cose è l'apparenza che conta, e qui mostrarsi al meglio significa fare cassa.

If you're in the States of A, you probably got the Bioshock demo yesterday and the FIFA 09 demo last week. You might've liked Bioshock, was a tad scary for me though. But say you're itching for some football (soccer) that doesn't feel like ass when you play it. Well, brotha i gotchu. Sign into the PSN with your alternate EU account, access their PS Store and DL the PES 09 demo they received yesterday. I haven't tried it yet myself, but i tried FIFA last week, almost falling for all this "FIFA's finally better than PES!" crap and came away as disappointed as ever.

EA makes soccer games like they make their Madden -- big, heavy, lumbering brutes running across a field, waiting for the occassional juke or high-step to look cool. Futbol isn't supposed to play like football. Futbol is pretty, balletic; players moving around with finesse. In football, players are constantly attacking with their bodies, slamming each other to the ground. FIFA, the two most recent years at least, is feeling too much like they've adopted the Madden engine. Maybe that's how the MLS plays, but sorry, no. Futbol (at least everywhere else in the world) is a sport of carefully crafted beauty executed at just the right moment. It's like tennis, but with a lot more guys and only one changeover.

Despite the framerate issues of last year's Winning Eleven, which seem to have been addressed this year, FIFA is still far from the top. You can talk about features and online leagues and whatnot, but it's the gameplay, stupids.

I don't mean to harp too much on the "America is dumb for not liking soccer enough" meme, it's just a question of the games displaying their real-world counterparts well. I'm gonna feel like an ass if the PES demo sucks.

Demo-ul are 1,06 GB si puteti incerca echipele Manchester United, Liverpool, Real Madrid, Barcelona, nationalele Italiei si Frantei. Varianta full va fi lansata pe 15 octombrie pe PS2, PC, PSP, PS3 si Xbox 360.

The good

They've slowed down the game this year so it doesn't look so ridiculous and fast like you're on speed.. the only thing is it has actually highlighted how poor the game is.  They've also added a rip off of the Fifa 'Be A Pro' feature, but that was a crap feature that nobody plays anyway so whatever..

The bad

The usual problems with Pro Evo, i.e. no license for players, crap commentary (presumably, there wasn't any on the demo.. but that never changes).  The presentation is ugly, the menu music is crap etc. etc.  I don't know if they're still having the same problems on the online game like there was last year because the demo only lets you play 1 player matches.

The ugly

The computer A.I. is ridiculous and having actually played Pro Evo 5 recently.  Players just let you run past them, its far too easy to run down the wing without having anyone challenge you at all, its far too easy to score off corners, the passing is completely unrealistic - and talking of realism, since when do players run in exactly straight or diagnol lines?  Why is there a clicking sound everytime you run with the ball?  You can just shoot from anywhere and score as well, which is completely ridiculous, and its well too easy to make defence splitting through balls - no matter what difficulty.  The gameplay is just terrible overall.  If you want a cheap arcade game you can pick up and play for 10 minutes then Pro Evo is your game, but if you actually like football and want something realistic and enjoyable go for Fifa.

The hilarious

The first thing I did when I loaded up my first game on Pro Evo was burst out laughing because of the way the players ran, they look like puppets on strings it is hilarious.  I've never seen anything so stupid on a football game.  The sound is always terrible in Pro Evo, from the sound effects to the menu music, to the commentary - but now they've added the most ridiculous thing I've heard in a game with player noises.  They're basically nonsensical noises that you seomtimes hear from players in real life games, except they're too frequent and sound so stupid.  The mastering on them sounds as if they're coming from a tiny sports hall not a giant stadium and do players really go "ooof!" when they slide in on the ball?  I thought that was just in Roy of the Rovers... and when the ball hits the crossbar its not supposed to sound like a couple of baking trays falling on the floor.  The funniest part though is players call for other players to play them on at ridiculous times, in a game I played I had Xabi Alonso call for Gerrard to play him on even though he was surrounded by 3 other players and had no chance of even receiving the ball never mind running onto it.. the most hilarious time was when I had Kuyt call for himself to play himself on when he was 1 on 1 with the keeper with the ball.. it looked like he was doing a Superman charge as he went to score the goal.. what a complete joke Pro Evo is.  I couldn't delete it off my HDD any quicker.
