The Plymouth Brethren Dispensationalists movement itself has constituted a radical even a false change from the historic teachings of Christianity. James 2:26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

So they are dead now even on two accounts.. Denying the present role, works of the Holy Spirit, and their lack of good works by faith, their unloving acts towards the others.

Dispensationalists, Brethren do now falsely deny the "second blessing" , a personal religious Holy Spirit experience after which the believer is set aside for, equipped by God for life.

The Brethren with all of their supposedly Biblical Studies Foundation, Bible studies, or actually Bible passages reinterpretations do say that the teachings of the Charismatic and Pentecostal Movement are false and that "The major doctrine the Pentecostals and Charismatics is that they do not understand is the supposed fact that Christians are not in the Old Testament times, but live in now a different dispensation " as defined by the Brethren alone.. You falsely have to go by, play by, live now by the new Brethren, man made rules, interpretations, standards and not God's.

The Brethren boasted, from their very beginning in the nineteenth century, that their teachings represented a wide departure from the doctrines of their predecessors and contemporaries. So it was not surprisingly the Brethren movement was both refuted and rejected rightfully now by the majority of professing real Christians even todate where the realted dispensationalism rightfully is something to be avoided like the plague.

In reality, and undeniably those persons who do not go along with them, do not support them they the Brethren, even due to their own insecurities, do declare war against them, ostracize them, slander them, lie about them, divorce them too. All unacceptable and very ungodly, un Christ like , carnal behavior on their parts still too.

Their false doctrine of the separation of Israel and the Church, the foundation of dispensationalism, can be clearly seen for what it is, false, by anyone who has a knowledgeable grasp of the New Testament. It is those persons ignorant of the scriptures, those persons not in their Bibles who are the ones so easily deceived by them still too.

"and a wonderful discovery that a long controverted point is now settled; the unpardonable sin is declared to be speaking against the Darbyites." C. H. Spurgeon whom himself was lied about, slandered, bashed by the Brethren.

Rev George Muller, famous founder of the Bristol orphanage, was one of the best-known early Plymouth Brethren figures . Mr. Muller also had a public falling-out with Darby. Those who sympathized with Darby became the "Closed Brethren" and those who sided with Muller were known as "Open Brethren." The two strains of Brethrenism endure even today. A It was Rev George Mueller who had introduced D L Moody to the Plymouth Brethren, and it seems when George Muller of Bristol came up against the Dispensationalist doctrines of the Brethren movement, he severed all connection with it.

The dispensationalists falsely divided the whole Scriptures in terms of categories of people: Jew, Gentile, and Christian. Where Chafer taught that the only Scriptures addressed specifically to Christians were the gospel of John, Acts, and the Epistles! Pettengill taught that the Great Commission was for the Jews only. Scofield taught that the Lord's prayer was a Jewish prayer and ought not be recited by Christians. Along with much of the New Testament, the Old Testament was described as "not for today." Christian." Christians were even falsely now mocked by them as legalists for believing in the Ten Commandments! This false segmentation of the Bible makes dispensationalism a cult.

The Open Brethren, Plymouth brethren simply and with limitations affirms the Bible as the inerrant Word of God; the Trinity; the depravity of man, and the necessity of salvation by grace through faith; the church is composed of all true believers ( Brethren only) in Jesus Christ; two ordinances, baptism by immersion and the Lord's Supper; the security of the believer (once a person is truly a child of God, that status is secure for all time); and pretribulation premillennialism (that is, Christ will return before the tribulation and before the millennium.) Brethren assemblies (independent congregations) are usually led by locally appointed elders recognized by the local congregation. Assemblies tend also celebrate a weekly communion service, at which only approved Members, appointed men only are encouraged to speak or pray. Women are clearly not allowed to participate. Fellowship with like-minded Christians such as InterVarsity Fellowship are rare acceptance as a part of evangelicalism , and very characteristic of Brethren they forbid, and do not fellowship with other Christians such as Catholics, Anglicans, Pentecostals, Charismatic's, etc., for whom they seem to have no use for. Tend to declare war on them too. Dispensationalists it seems to compensate for their often rejections seem to like to bash the Catholics. Charismatic, Pentecostal Christians too now. The seem to be a english speaking white man's club too.

I have even been blogging on the net for decades and surprisingly It has now been too often the bad brethren, the bad professing Christians, also it has been bad pastors who have been wrongfully the most abusive towards me and my posts.. jealousy seems to still control them sadly too. To the Pentecostal "saints," the appearance of "Pentecostal" phenomena (for example, visions, dreams, prophecy, glossolalia, and other charismatic gifts) confirmed that what the Old Testament prophet Joel had foretold about the "latter rain" outpouring of the Holy Spirit in the end times ( Joel 2: 28-29) was being fulfilled simultaneously in other parts of the world. As one songwriter put it, "The latter rain has come, / Upon the parched ground . . . The whole wide world around."

Dispensationalism had it's origination among the Plymouth Brethren in the early 1830's. The father of dispensationalism, John Nelson Darby, educated as a lawyer and ordained Anglican priest, was one of the chief founders of the Plymouth Brethren movement, which arose in reaction against the perceived empty formalism of the Church of England. Next Dispensationalists have long been rightfully accused of teaching multiple methods of salvation. Dispensationalists FALSELY view Israel and the church as having distinct eternal destinies. Israel will receive an eternal earthly Kingdom, and the church an eternal heavenly Kingdom. In contrast, Christian theology has always maintained the essential continuity of Israel and the church. The elect of all the ages are seen as one people, one sole Church now, with one Savior, one destiny, Heaven..

Dispensationalism is a system of theology that was first popularized by John Nelson Darby, 19th century British evangelist and forerunner of modern Christian fundamentalism. The false Scofield Reference Bible, written by Cyrus Ingerson Scofield, popularized dispensationalism in the United States. The world's Jews must return to Israel for a dispensational interpretation of prophecy to be fulfilled. The false Brethren wresting of Holy Scriptures to support a line of dispensational reaching contrary to the actual written word of God is still also unacceptable

The Brethren oft repeated assertion that the present voice of the Holy Spirit is located in the utterance of men is an affront to the Holy Spirit.

"But in vain do they worship me, teaching as their teachings commandments of men. For, leaving the commandment of God, ye hold what is delivered by men to keep", Mark 7: 7-8.

We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place .... Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that brought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you ....(1 Tim 1:7 KJV) Desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm.(Heb 5:12 KJV) For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.

Dispensationalists who unacceptably have a very negative view of the latter days, end times on this world, now it seems to compensate for their often rejections by even main stream Christianity, and as I have even recently now too often now personally witnessed, even on my sites they have to still it seems falsely bash, slander, they falsely call others mentally unstable, biblically unsound, not real Christians, lie against the Pentecostals Christians too even in envy it seems cause they the Pentecostals undeniably are it seems one of the fastest growing group today in Christianity. These abusive, immoral rather Brethren who often do hide, disguise them as Gospel, Bible believing Christians only, are an unacceptable part of the un Holy wars on the net too.. The Brethren dispensational views and related false doctrines have undeniably now been refused, refuted and not accepted by main stream Christianity too.

Some persons recognize and treasure all born again believers who operate within a dispensational framework as brothers and sisters in Christ. whereas IN FACT IN ANY CHURCH IT SEEMS ONLY 30 PERCENT OF THE PERSONS AT THE MOST ARE REAL, BORN AGAIN CHRISTIANS, ESPECIALLY IN THE BRETHREN CHURCHES TOO

James Barr states: But whatever may be said about its creativity, when it is considered as a statement of Christian truth...it can scarcely be doubted that dispensational doctrine is heretical and should be counted as such, if the term 'heresy' is to have any meaning. If dispensationalism is not heresy, then nothing is heresy (Ibid., p.588).

Of the Scofield Reference Bible, John Wick Bowman says, "This book represents the most dangerous heresy currently to be found within Christian circles" (Ibid., p.588).

John H. Gerstner, in his 1991 book, Wrongly Dividing the Word of Truth: A Critique of Dispensationalism, states emphatically and without mincing words:

What is indisputably, absolutely, and uncompromisingly essential to the Christian religion is its doctrine of salvation....If Dispensationalism has actually departed from the only way of salvation which the Christian religion teaches, then we must say that it has departed from Christianity. No matter how many other important truths it proclaims, it cannot be called Christian if it empties Christianity of its essential message. We define a cult as a religion which claims to be Christian while emptying Christianity of that which is essential to it. If Dispensationalism does this, then Dispensationalism is a cult and not a branch of the Christian church. It is as serious as that. It is impossible to exaggerate the gravity of the situation (p.150).

Ernest Reisinger states in his article, "A History of Dispensationalism in America": All honest Dispensationalists would agree that the Dispensational system of theology has a different view of the grace of God, the law of God, the church of God, the interpretation of the Word of God and the salvation of God. That is, its teachings are different from tested, respected historic creeds and confessions .... Dispensationalism has a different view of living the Christian life of sanctification and, more specifically, how justification and sanctification are inseparably joined together in the application of God's salvation (p.3).

But what had really surprised me most of all besides how they the Plymouth Brethren do falsely abuse others is as to how many Brethren preachers actually lie, practice deceit, and it is so easy to find it too, when you look for it, and do start to verify everything they say, write too to determine now whether what was said it is so, true or false , even as per the Bible.

When a Brethren preacher is even trying to justify the Brethren belief and puts something ridiculous like this in writing.. "Most Conservative scholars agree with him".. the term "Most conservative scholars" means nothing, that is so vague of a useless, false generalization now still too, and in reality most of them do not agree even with each other to start off, dispensationalist ones included.. for not only do they they rather rarely agree or have the same views, beliefs on dispensationalist, the whole Bible too but in fact since the early days the Brethren undeniably have often had church fights, splits not just over dispensational points, but over now many other issues too. The only thing we can agree in unity, harmony is that they often do serioulsy disgree with each other, others too.

Or when the Brethren preacher continues the Brethren deceits, distortions by saying.. the Brethren believe only in 5 in simple doctrines, and firstly what did he fall out of a tree and damage his brains? By their own admissions often it seems you need many many commentaries, dictionaries, books, knowledge of the Greek, theological degrees, and loads and loads of explanations.. to try to basically, simply grasp what Dispensationalist means and next also what their version of Prophecy means .. and loads of work even now to try to grasp if Brethrenism itself is even at all Biblical now too. Thier beliefs now are Plain and Simple? never, not by a long shot.

There are several basic, ground rules in proper Bible interpretation that must be followed by all persons now before anyone even attempts to fully study the Holy Scripture. The first rule is pray and ask the Holy spirit to guide you, to teach you.. not rather self, mere men or women.. we should seek first and not last the Holy Spirit for illumination. The Holy Spirit wants to share the treasures of God’s Word with those who rightfully do esteem Him. The most important principle to remember in studying God’s Word is that it can only be understood with the help of the Holy Spirit. Those who approach the Bible without the Holy Spirit to teach them, may gain some insight into truths, their lives, but also will receive no definite, permanent, important life-changing revelation. Bible Commentaries should be used only very sparingly if at all. Even the most anointed man or woman, preacher of God clearly still can be wrong, biased, have a hidden agenda, limited, (or just shallow) in their understanding or interpretation of certain Bible topics, subjects. Do not believe any man or women, rather solely Take God’s word for it.

While the Brethren even say they Believe the Bible is the Word of God, they too clearly do have this unholy, desperate and complicated need to reinterpret almost every passages of the Bible suitable to their own liking.

Aku mulai sibuk ketika ini. Ini gara² misi italian job yang aku cipta sendiri dan aku juga yang laksanakannya sendiri! Misi apakah ini? Michael Scofield sendiri perlukan teman² untuk rancangannya, inikan pula aku. Siapa Micheal Scofield? Kawan sekampung aku dulu. Tapi kami berpisah masa penjajahan Jepun dulu. Sekarang dia dah berjaya sebagai pelakon (aktor). Dunia kami memang berbeza. Dia nun di sana dan aku nun di sini. Nanti aku cerita lanjut pasal mamat ni. Itu pun kalau aku sedang bersenag lenang. Minta diri. Ingin pulang ke kampung halaman segera! Kerana waktu berbuka sudah tiba.

The new season 2 hour first episode on Fox12 which was aired Monday September 1st did not disappoint me. I'm so glad Dr. Sara Tancredi is back (oops did l spoil it for anyone who hasnt yet seen the episode). Theodore "T-Bag" Bagwell keeps up with the gross stuff and mean vendata streak. Cant wait for Season 3 on BlueRay - l bet re-watching the entire season in High-Definition will be awesome!

The Rapture and The Return Of Jesus

Many people teach that the RAPTURE is coming, so that we will not have to worry about this beast of Rome, he is only coming in the future (this is called FUTURIST belief). Rapture means people will fly up into the air and into heaven when Jesus returns, and will escape death this way. However, this idea of a coming rapture was invented in the 1500s as we will show here.

Ignatius de Loyola commissioned two of his best Jesuits to destroy Protestantism through a study of all the prophecy of the coming of Jesus Christ. Their names were RIBERA and ALCAZAR. They pushed conflicting theories on prophecy, thus creating division and confusion among Protestants.

Secular historians record the tactics of Counter-Reformation Rome. The Encyclopedia Britannica states, "Under the stress of the Protestant attack there arose new methods on the papal side." In those pages, Ribera (a Jesuit scholar) is identified as the founder of the futurist school of interpretation [Encyclopedia Britannica, vol. 23, p. 213. 11th edition]. Rev. E. B. Elliot gives a synopsis of the prophetic positions published by Jesuit scholars as follows:

So at length, as the [16th] century was advancing to a close, two Jesuits published their respective, but quite counter opinions on the Apocalyptic subject: the first, Francisco Ribera (1537-1591), a Jesuit Priest of Salamanca published an Apocalyptic Commentary [Apocalypsin], about 1585 A.D. on the grand points of Babylon and Antichrist, what we now call the futurist scheme. The second man, Louis de Alcazar, also a Spanish Jesuit, but of Seville, published Vestigatio Arcani Sensus in Apocalypsi, published in Antwerp in 1614 on main points what we now designate as the praeterist scheme.

These two eschatologies were invented solely for the purpose of protecting the papacy. Ribera and Alcazar both spun their primary apparatus from the 70th week of Daniel by putting the antichrist either in the remote past or the remote future, taking him out of the present where the reformationists could attack the papal system.

Ribera said that God had first given us 69 weeks and that at the baptism of Jesus in 27 A.D. the 69 weeks concluded. He said that God extended the 70th week into the future to take place at the end of the age. The antichrist is to be a single individual (not the papal system) who would not rule until the very end of time. Today there are three versions of this futurist eschatology held by Pentecostals, (1) the pre, (2) the mid, and (3) the post tribulation rapture doctrines. Then there are numerous versions of each one of those three basic schools of thought.

Alcazar said that the prophecies of the Apocalypse (Revelation) were fulfilled in 70 A.D. when the temple was destroyed and the Jews were slaughtered or deported. By this teaching, Matthew 24 and all (but the first chapter) of Revelation, and the 70th week of Daniel were fulfilled in 70 A.D. Alcazar insists that the enemies of the church (the Sanhedrin) were destroyed; that Jesus returned to reside in the person of the reigning pope (the Vicar of Christ); and that the millennium (the amillennium) started at that time and continues today. This is still the basic stance of Catholicism. Once again, no reformer, no Protestant accepted a word of either Ribera"s or Alcazar"s teachings. [Robert Caringola, Seventy Weeks, pp. 19,31-38]

GLOBAL ACCEPTANCE AFTER 1826

Dr. S. R. Maintland (1752-1866), the librarian to the Archbishop of Canterbury, discovered Ribera"s book in his library and translated and published it in 1826 just for the sake of interest. Until this time there was not a single Protestant in the world who believed the futuristic teachings (now held by Pentecostals). Dr. Maintland also wrote a prophetic pamphlet showing his contempt for the Reformation, and he did not believe that the papacy was the predicted antichristian Apostasy or Beast of Daniel and the Apocalypse (Revelation).

John Nelson Darby (1800-1882) magnified Maintland"s errors. Darby read the pamphlets that Maitland produced and was persuaded. This man was the founder of the Plymouth Brethren. He thought this was a great revelation"with such a simplified view of Bible prophecy, there was no need to understand the historic application. It was all in the future! Darby wrote several volumes on this new understanding of prophecy. He influenced many people, including Cyrus Ingerson Scofield (1843-1921) who incorporated Darby"s views in the Scofield Reference Bible in 1909. Scofield was awarded an honorary Ph.D., he didn"t earn it.

THE RAPTURE " FIRST PUBLISHED IN SPAIN ABOUT THE SAME TIME

The Coming of Messiah in Glory and Majesty, a book by Emmanuel Lacunza (1731-1801), a Jesuit priest from Chili, contains what some say is the first known reference to this strange new idea of a rapture. His book was published in Spain and then translated into English and published in London in 1827. The book was attributed to a fictitious author named Rabbi Juan Josafat Ben-Ezra. In an extensive introduction the translator, Rev. Edward Irving (1792-1834) contended that the book was the work of a converted Jew!

Knowing fully well that he was giving a false position on the Second Coming of Christ and the resurrection of the dead, he presented Lacunza"s work as a new revelation from God. Irving became one of the most eloquent preachers of his time. In 1828 his open-air meetings in Scotland drew crowds of ten thousand people. In March 1830, he held a series of prophecy meetings in which he introduced Lacunza"s ideas. [Michael J. Berry, Foundation for Restoration, p. 63-4]

In 1830 in Port Glasgow, Scotland, a 15-year-old named Margaret MacDonald claimed she had received a new revelation in a vision, then set about to share this vision of a pre-tribulation rapture with anyone who would listen. One who did was Robert Norton (1807-1883), who recorded Margaret"s prophecies and published them in a book, The Restoration of Apostles and Prophets in the Catholic Apostolic Church (London, 1861). I don"t know whether or not there is any record verifying whether Margaret ever heard or read Irving"s translation of Lacunza. Anyhow, Norton wrote that Miss MacDonald was the first to advance the idea of pre-tribulation rapture. [Note: Margaret MacDonald"s vision is recorded in The Incredible Cover Up.]

The rapturist doctrine of today is quite different from the fragments of rapture of Lacunza, MacDonald and Norton. They proclaimed a partial rapture in which only a select portion of the body of believers would be chosen. The identity of this elite, select portion quickly became a focal point of confusion and disagreement. Lacunza claimed that only those believers who partake of the sacrament of the Eucharist would be raptured; Miss MacDonald said the rapture would take away only those who were filled with the Spirit; and Norton claimed that only Christians who were sealed by the Holy Ghost with the laying on of hands would be raptured.

DARBY

In the years that followed, John Nelson Darby (1800-1882), a brilliant and well-educated man from Glasgow, Scotland, developed the two-stage teaching into its current form. It was Darby who introduced this new teaching into the main current of prophetic interpretation. Darby, who was ordained a deacon by the Church of England in 1825, was acquainted with Edward Irving who translated Lacunza"s work, and had visited Miss MacDonald in the days when she was having her visions. The potential of their radical new prophecy of a rapture intrigued Darby, who was already unhappy with the lethargic conditions prevailing in many churches of his time. The pre-tribulation rapture theory became the rallying point of Darby"s break from the Church of England and the focus of his ascent to a position of leadership in the Plymouth Brethren movement.

Strangely enough, what at first was understood to be a new and special revelation was soon to be dogmatically promoted as though it had always been the eternal truth of the scriptures. Those who opposed Darby, such as Charles H. Spurgeon and George Mueller, were excommunicated.

Darby"s biographers refer to him as "the father of modern dispensationalism." Cyrus Ingerson Scofield (1842-1921) became one of Darby"s most enthusiastic promoters. The Scofield Reference Bible (1909) has influenced countless thousands of believers. It is interesting to note that the majority of Scofield"s contemporaries"men such as Charles R. Eerdman, W.G. Moorhead, A.J. Gordon and Nathaniel West"rejected the views of this new "British" doctrine.

THE NEW ISRAEL

When the new Israel became a nation again in 1947, under the flag of the beast (the star on the Israeli flag), it was to fulfil the fabricated FUTURIST teachings introduced in 1585 by the Roman Catholic Jesuit called RIBERA, who said that the 7-year tribulation and antichrist are all in the future. The Pentecostals helped push the beast"s doctrine in the 20th Century, so that in 1947, the beast could create his own new state of Israel, and say "it is the fulfilment of bible prophecy!".

Is Charleston Pool and Spa color blind? There are only two possibilities...they are color blind...or I am supposed to play the part of the village idiot.

We have issues with the color. You will see the color at our house is gray. However, we told Mike Arant of Charleston Pool and Spa to make it just like the picture on the Scofield Systems brochure he gave us. It is also on the website...if you don't believe me click here.

When my wife showed him how it didn't match he said it looked good to him. My wife said, "Mike, it doesn't match the picture in the brochure you gave me." He smiled and acted like perhaps we are being too picky. He slid the brochure in his back pocket and kept talking. My wife asked for it back...he was trying to remove the evidence...however the evidence is in our backyard, on their web site.

MANUFACTURER REP OFFERS SOLUTION TO FIX MIKE ARANTS CEMENT JOB; A SLEDGE HAMMER

$10,000 of the $50,000 paid to Charleston Pool and Spa went to the concrete. We wanted it to look nice. Real nice. We trusted the Mike Arant new what he was talking about. Sadly we were mistaken.

During the concrete part of the project Mike Arant had promised he's be there for the entire time...it took 2 days. Mike Arant was MIA and the pattern was applied incorrectly. Scofield, the manufacturer of the concrete stamps said the only way to fix it was to take a sledge hammer to it.

We asked Mike Arant to fill some of the holes and gaps, but, for some reason known only to Mike, he walked around with a cutter, creating More holes and slashes. We then spent the better part of 3 days filling his mistakes ourselves because Mike Arant said he could match it all up. He didn't and it looks much worse

The color of the concrete is completely off because Mike Arant failed to test an area, as per the manufactures directions.

The concrete already has numerous cracks. Mike Arant said he wouldn't pay the concrete guys until we were happy. He arranged a meeting at our house in the middle of the day. We left work to be there. Mike wasn't there, but 3 very unhappy concrete guys were.

Mike Arant said the concrete would have a slip resistant finish. It does not. It is very slippery. Our young son fell the second day and hit his head

There is concrete and all kinds of construction residue attached to the pool and he has the solution to remove it, but never bothered. One of his workers took a razor to it (or something similar) and there are permanent scratches.

The Church is Central to the Christian in order to provide salvation to the Gentiles

Therefore remember that you, once Gentiles in the flesh--who are called Uncircumcision by what is called the Circumcision made in the flesh by hands-- that at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.

For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation, having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace, and that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity. And He came and preached peace to you who were afar off and to those who were near. For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father.

Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone, in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.

An argument of the centrality of the Church to the Christian is that it unites the Gentiles with the Jews into one body, that of Christ. Some modern theologians refute such ideas by drawing a line between Israel and the Church, making the Church seem second to that of Israel, however, in the writings of the Apostles, we find that the Church as superseded Israel and only in the Church is Israel made perfect, and not the other way around as John Hagee and others would have us believe.

Supersessionism, or Replacement Theology, is the idea that the Church is the completion, or perfection of the Israel, where Israel is united with Gentiles to form the Church, in one body. Paul says that we are built together, therefore to deny the place of Israel in the Church is to deny Paul. The Apostle also said that at one time we, Gentiles, were foriegners to the promises of Israel, and that by the blood of Christ, we are brought together and made one; to the place of the Church in Israel is to deny the body of Christ. To say that the Church replaced Israel is to deny a great many eternal truths., as God made a covenant with Israel which Paul refers to when he mentions the remnant in Romans; it is more appropriate to say that the Church superseded Israel as the people of God, as we are now one people under one name, and that name is not Israel.

Israel, the Jews, is no longer the chosen people of God. Instead, the Church (Jew, Gentile, Triumphant, Militant) is the Israel of God (Galatians 6.16). Many would proclaim that Israel has her own covenant with God, yet in John 14.6, Christ says that the only to the Father is through Him, making such 'me too' agreements null and void.

The prophecies pointing to a future Jerusalem point not to a city of stone, but a spiritual city, the Church.

But you, yes you!, have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to the numberless multitude of angels in joyful assembly, And to the church of the firstborn, who are recorded in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of righteous men made perfect,

We are Jews, who are the Church, because the promises are no longer genetic, but based on the indwelling of the Spirit:

For he is not a Jew that is one on the outside, and neither is circumcision that which is physical But, he is a Jew that is one inwardly and circumcision is that of the heart — which is the work of the spirit and not of the letter of the Law — whose praise is not of man, but from God!

A good many of detractors to replacement theology call it 'vile' and 'antisemitism' while failing to understand that Scripture points squarely at the identity of the Church as both Jew and Gentile, neither Christ one above the other. Supersessionism provides for equality among Jews and Gentiles and is indeed the progenitor of the term 'catholic' itself pointing to the universal quality of the Church.

John Darby, and later, C.S. Scofield, popularized the notion, generally called Dispensationalism, that Israel was stood somehow separate from the Church in view of salvation and indeed of equality. This has given way to the pre-tribulation rapture dogma that has swept Protestant churches leading to the much read, much hated, series by Tim LeHaye and Jerry Jenkins, Left Behind. The idea is that after the Church has been 'raptured' the Jews will en masse turn to God and find their salvation out side of the Church (since the Church as left), while restoring the Temple and the Levitical Priesthood, along with sacrifices. Many of this persuasion see the Epistle to the Hebrews as a book written exclusively to the Jews after the Rapture, thus they deny the warnings against apostasy and the straightforward theology that declares that the Old Covenant was completed in the faithfulness of Christ.

The Centrality of the Church to the Christians brings perfection and salvation.

The Centrality of the Church to the Christian brings unity with the Jews and Israel, including the promises given to her patriarchs and all are made children of Abraham by faith. Without the Church, their is no unity, no union, no body of Christ and thus no promise of salvation for either the Jew or the Gentile, living or dead.

Mon coup de coeur "série" de l'année 2007 : une saison 1 et 2 fabuleuse (oubliez la 3eme saison).

Mon avis : Rah la 1ere saison est une tuerie, comment que j'étais à fond dedans vers la fin... trop bon, c'est comme si je partagé le stress avec eux ! Puis une 2eme saison dans la continuité, vraiment bien. Pour moi perso, la série se complète avec ces 2 saisons. La 3eme saison est une vraie daube commercial, et ça se sent... j'ai regardé les 2 / 3 premiers épisodes, une telle daube que j'ai arrêté : pour moi c'est clair, Prison Break c'est la saison 1 et 2 ! Une merveille , a tel point qu'on oublie cette tête à claque de Wentworth Miller, le personnage principal de la série ; sa gueule de beau gosse pour adolescente décérébré et son air niais à souhait le rend vraiment antipathique !

Résumé : Michael Scofield s'engage dans une véritable lutte contre la montre : son frère Lincoln est dans le couloir de la mort, en attente de son exécution. Persuadé de son innocence mais à court de solutions, Michael décide de se faire incarcérer à son tour dans le pénitencier d'état de Fox River pour organiser leur évasion...

O guitarrista John Scofield está chegando ao Brasil para uma série apresentações. Aqui em São Paulo, a primeira apresentação agendada nesta próxima quinta (22/05) no teatro do Sesc Vila Mariana esgotou rapidamente. O Sesc não bobeou e conseguiu marcar um segundo show para o mesmo dia, só que às 21hrs. Ainda existem ingressos. Se eu fosse você iria comprá-los assim que acabar de ler este post.
