Well that sucks, but it's a really amazing groundbreaking super game though? It's kind of boring? Shit. It's probably not that bad, but still. $50, 3 installs, 10 years and like 10 hours of gameplay. I couldn't even get the torrent to download.

Whatever, fuck you Will Wright, finish Sims 3 and don't make it suck. Let me take my character to other people's houses and steal/break their stuff. And don't make me buy 25 add-ons. DON'T.

Ese mismo día estará disponible la edición de colección que incluirá una copia del juego, el diamante verde (Sims Plumbob) para conectarse vía puerto USB, guía de tips y trucos, estampas del diamante y un auto deportivo italiano (para el juego, claro). Adicionalmente, aquellos que preordenen el juego (en tiendas seleccionadas) podrán llevarse un poster alusivo al vecindario del mundo.

The countdown can finally begin! Sims 3 hits the shelves in February 2009. I am so excited! I love the Sims and can't wait to check out the new graphics. I have my laptop all hooked up to be able to handle what Sims has next.

New Sims 3 Site Update

The Sims 3 has finally been updated with 2 new screenshots and some more information. Not much new information has been provided.
* The new Sims 3 site includes:

- About the Sims 3: information about the game.

- Cool Stuff: Wallpapers and more

- Community: Blog, Chats and Events

- What is the sims: Information about The Sims 2 and Sims in-general.

- VIP Area: Which includes new and exclusive information.

The Sims 3 site will be updated monthly.

Tirnua also received new updates to its blog where many internal maintenance and improvement occurred.
IE6 uses SSL2 but the team were using SSL3 and tested with the lastest versions of the common browsers only. Laurent modified things so that IE6 users should not have trouble anymore.

Eccoci di nuovo a parlare di The Sims 3, Famoso gioco Maxis in uscita il primo semestre 2009.

Grazie al rilascio di nuove immagini, siamo in grado di pronosticare quali tecnologie verranno utilizzate per questo nuovo episodio.

Come potete notare, se ingrandite l'immagine, l'acqua verrà renderizzata con molta cura, grazie ad un apposito Shader, tecnologia oramai utilizzata in tutti i videogiochi moderni, per simulare l'illuminazione e i riflessi dei fluidi, ma non solo.

Anche l'illuminazione globale, giorno/notte, verrà notevolmente migliorata, creando illuminazioni realistiche in base all'ora del giorno e al luogo in cui ci si trova, creando scenari davvero bellissimi.

Le ombre, già molto dettagliate nel precedente capitolo, verranno  ulteriormente perfezionate, e sembra che si allungeranno o accorcieranno, in base alla lontananza da una fonte luminosa...staremo a vedere!

Questa immagine si commenta da sola, non credete? La profondità di campo (vera o presunta, dall'immagine è difficile dire se si potrà camminare fino in fondo allo scenario), attribuisce davvero molto realismo alla scena.

Creare la casa dei propri sogni, sarà molto più soddisfacente, non credete?

Appena ci saranno nuovi sviluppi pubblicherò immediatamante un articolo, tenete d'occhio il blog!

Maxis ed Electronic Arts seguiranno prima lo sviluppo dell'innovativo gioco "gestionale" (definizione molto riduttiva) "SPORE", in uscita rispettivamente il 5 settembre in USA, ed il 7 Settembre in Europa, Italia compresa.

Una delle novità radicali che troveremo in The Sims 3, sarà la possibilità di spostarci nell'intero quartiere liberamente, senza caricamenti; Ciò contribuirà a creare maggior realismo e continuità durante la partita.

Gli oggetti saranno completamente personalizzabili, molto più di quanto si sia già visto in The Sims 2, oltre ad una varietà di oggetti sterminata.

Sembra che sarà possibile persino spiare i vicini di casa! (soddisfacendo la sete di impiccionaggine di alcuni giocatori).

Oltre agli oggetti, anche i Sims saranno molto più personalizzabili, con personalità estremamente più profonde che in passato, e con un'arbitrarietà molto più avanzata.

Sicuramente ci sarà da aspettarsi una miriade di miglioramenti grafici, non al livello del colosso Crysis, ma sicuramente il gioco saprà regalarci una grafica pulita e piacevolissima, come i suoi predecessori.

Nell'attesa possiamo gustarci l'innovativo Spore, per avere un assaggio delle potenzialità che potranno avere i futuri giochi Maxis.
