Ok, secrets no more. Whew, it was getting tiring. So what do you all think about Tay Tay going joining the touring company of Grease?

What did I think when I got the news? First thought was dumbass. Second, whatever. Third, it's a paycheck. IMO it shows how disconnected Taylor is from his music. Seems he's been that way for quite awhile now with no end in sight. Sure he says he's gonna record and there will be a tour next year, but the tour that was supposed to be this year and the CD and dreaded DVD (there are actually some people who still believe that is coming out, gheesh) never materialized. What makes some think it will happen next year? 2010 is more like it if at all. IDK, doesn't look promising, I think he has lost all focus on his music, I think he can't get a deal and can't produce himself. I think he is listening to the wrong people again. I think a lot of things and don't jump my ass, my opinions. Taylor seems robotic and lost to me, like he's supposedly been recording all summer in NYC, not....Like some think he is recording now, not.........

I do hope at some point the muses visit him again, cause one of the new songs he did write is excellent. I find it amusing that he would join a touring company. 7 more months of Grease on the road. Good news for the west coasters that never get to see him, I guess. I won't be going, but I'm sure he will get a warm reception from them. Nothing like tying yourself up for another year to avoid the issues at hand. Well, no matter. BSD still reigns supreme. Wonder who he will visit when he hits San Diego, hmmmm.... Fortunately he's only in L.A. for a week or so, so he should survive that.......There is a lot of disappointment right now. Understandably so, hell, it's all bullshit IMO. I mean WTF? Serioulsy now that I can talk about it WTF? Methinks Tay Tay is more interested in celebrity and fame than his music. He did seem to love being in the limelight while in NY, but you aren't exactly kept in the limelight while travelling. A few promos or newspaper articles now and then. The touring company of Spam were frustrated as hell. I know some of them, although great performers, touring companies usually hire the more "C" rated performers. Now don't freak out, but honestly, touring company is a step down not a step up. IMO it shows a form of desperation on his part. It will be next to impossible to record while in rehearsals and on tour for 7 months. I guess he will be happy to be back on the road, even if it is the wrong road.

So for now, rest up Taylor, enjoy your much deserved vacation after your grueling schedule this summer. Maybe we'll see you in a year or two doing what you do best, your music.

Recentemente, escrevi sobre o facto de n gostar de dizer adeus. A verdade é que o sentimento se mantém mas a palavra, essa, teima em fazer parte da minha vida, forçando-me a "dobrar a língua", vezes e vezes sem conta. N é que me importe, verdadeiramente, de proferi-la. Só n gosto que ganhe a proporção que lhe confere o determinismo. Que venha imbuída daquele sofrimento de n sabermos quando será o próximo olá. Que nos saiba a roubo de uma parte da nossa vida. Que te mude para longe, mm q fiques perto no que toca ao coração.
