Headlight connections
Before you follow these steps make sure you have access to all the tools. I have owned an Econoseal connector crimping tool for a number of years, because Econoseal connectors are main type of electrical connector used by Caterham. mais 324 palavras
Front Anti Roll Bar
I started by checking I have the correct Anti Roll Bar (ARB) bushes for the ARB that’s being installed. The colour of the spot on the ARB should match the bush colour. mais 622 palavras

Upright Inspection
I want to start this post by saying I think that this is no longer an essential step during the build. It seems Caterham and their parts suppliers have made improvements to the uprights supplied. mais 770 palavras
Uprights
This is the first time I have fitted uprights without the “special nuts” which need a special 3/4” thin-walled long-reach socket to fit. Its replacement is the “Top Hat” spacer and a standard 1/2” UNF 1/2 nut. mais 709 palavras
Front Dampers
Normally I start by checking bolts fit before I install components, but the front dampers are different. The bolts are already installed in the chassis and lower wishbone, therefore start the process by removing the front damper mounting bolts. mais 379 palavras
