Bad Faith
I think when we look at bad faith today we tend to look at what others believing and judge by saying its bazar or unethical to believe in such a thing like that because the majority of people don’t believe in such a thing I think what Sartre was trying to say was that putting your faith on one thing for your whole committing to it and your actions against humanity because of your faith makes it a bad faith what Sartre was trying to say was that to believe in something for your whole life and to do all that you did and find out that thing you believed in wasn’t really there and all your actions you committed while you were alive doesn’t matter because the thing you believed in never existed what Sartre meant was you have to live life observing both sides you cant dedicate your life and stop your goals and plans because of something that you don’t know is there in my opinion that is what I thought bad faith was in Sartre’s point of view he was trying to to tell us to live life without condoling a higher power to live free without a worry of what’s on the other side I can’t say that I agree with Sartre but watching the video this what comes to my mind live free and die and face what comes after I mean in some point of everyone’s life we encounter someone who we believe has bad faith weather begin religion or politics there’s always someone I have encountered many who cutoff family’s quit jobs based off because of what they believe who am I to tell them what they were doing is wrong because in reality I have no idea weather what they were doing is morally wrong some people might look at my religion and say I have bad faith it really depends on the human eye and everyone’s point of view
